The Realhousewives of Atlanta star Eva Marcille celebrated the impending arrival of her third child with an intimate Flower themed garden baby shower over the weekend.
Her BRAVO TV co stars Cynthia Bailey, Nene Leakes, Porsha Williams, and friends of the housewives Shamea Morton and Marlo Hampton, along with Cynthia’s sister and occassional guest on the show Mal Bailey, all joined in the fun to celebrate Baby Maverick, the chosen name Marcille and her husband, attorney Michael Sterling, have selected for their second child together.
“Pardon me I must say initially I was not super excited about having a baby shower considering this is my third child,” Marcille captioned a stunning Instagram photo of herself o the big day. “However, waking up this morning I’m super excited and it is my joy to celebrate the welcoming of my newest Flower Child ‘Baby Maverick.’ The Sterling clan gets a little bit bigger.”
Her co-stars and other guests also posted pics of the event.
Bravo TV host and Real Housewives franchise co-creator Andy Cohen celebrated the impending arrival of his soon-to-be born surrogate child at a baby shower at the The Palm Beverly Hills last weekend.
The theme was ” A Star is Born” and featured ornate decorations, blue and white balloons, white and yellow florals, candles and a white floral wall.
Kyle Richards from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills hosted the event at Cohen’s BFF Bruce Bozzi’s restaurant and enlisted the aid of the OG Housewives Nene Leakes from Real Housewives of Atlanta, Teresa Giudice from Real Housewives of New Jersey, Ramona Singer from Real Housewives of New York and Vicky Guvalsen from Real Housewives of Orange County to get the women from their respective franchises there.
Many of the Housewives from the network’s Real Housewives series attended including newer ones from the Real Housewives of Potomac, and Real Housewives of Dallas.

John Mayer, who is Cohen’s buddy, was impressed with Leakes who kept everyone in stitches;
Cohen was surprised to see Phaedra Parks who he had fired there and who Leakes probably invited in a rumored attempt to keep the RHOA franchise amidst falling ratings
Beador was reportedly wasted
Grammar and Rinna had a little fight and Cohen went over to them and said save it for the Reunion show
Rinna was the life of the party and got everyone to dance on tables
Notably absent were Bethenny Frankel (who had a speaking engagement) and Countess LuAnn from RHONY; Monique Samuels from RHOP (who is a brand new mom); Lisa Vanderpump from RHOBH (who is rumored to be leaving and feuding with Richards); Kelly Dodd and Heather Dubrow from RHOOC; Tinsley Mortimer from RONY; Porsha Williams and Kandi Burruss from RHOA (though she is on Celebrity Big Brother right now and Williams is heavily pregnant and maybe couldn’t get on a plane); Melissa Gorga of RHONJ
Marlo Hampton was not an original invited guest but came to surprise Cohen who picked her up and twirled her around when he saw her.

They noshed on Chinese chicken and lobster Cobb salad, Salmon with Mango Salsa, Filet Mignon, Chicken Paillard, grilled asparagus, fried potatoes, spinach and grilled polenta cakes.
Last weekend, Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kenya Moore and her husband Marc Daly celebrated the impending birth of their first child together at a Wrinkle In Time -theme baby shower in Atlanta where guests were asked to dressed in elaborate costumes to reflect the theme similar to the Met Gala.
The seated plated event was held at the Historic Academy of Medicine building at George Tech University, a venue used often for lavish banquets, weddings and other formal events.
It was held in an intimate sized ornately decorated room, draped in lighted organza, green carpet, golden thrones and everything needed to resemble an enchanted forest.
Guests of the October 20th event included family, friends and former castmates Porsha Williams, Kandi Burrus, Cynthia Bailey, and Claudia Jordan along with “Real Housewives of Potomac” star Gizelle Bryant, Married to Medicine stars Toya Bush-Harris and Dr. Heavenly Kimes among others.
When the time was right, Moore Daly entered the red-carpet event after emerging from a luxury black SUV and joined her already gathered guests to an awaiting head table that included her aunt, hubby and several relatives.
Social Media trolls made mean comments about this actress and model’s dark belly and her interracial marriage.
Being a child of a celebrity has its ups and downs. In the case of Porsche Thomas, whose dad Peter Thomas is the estranged husband of Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey, it turned ugly recently when cyberbullies descended to criticize the color of her baby bump.
Thomas, who is a model, actress, writer, and vegan chef, is expecting twins with her new husband. When she posted a bikini photo of herself lounging by the pool on Instagram a week ago, her comment section was littered with trolls remarking about how dark her belly was.
One troll called Thomas a “nasty-looking thing” while another questioned why “her stomach is so black.”
Several came to her defense, educating the lot that some women’s bodies change color during pregnancy, but even so, why the hate on the darker skin?
They also criticized her for the fact that her husband is white.

“I shake everything off that’s negative,” she told BET.com. “I don’t hold on to other people’s opinions that have nothing to do with me. I laugh at the ignorance. I know it exists, it’s there and it’s sad. The fact that we’re in a [Donald] Trump era made it less funny. But I don’t let things like that bother me. I’m pretty secure in myself.”
Not one to let the haters get under her skin, Thomas responded perfectly to them in another bare bump photo while drinking the proverbial “tea” that one drinks when dropping shady lines.

We’re so used to seeing white baby bumps,” she told Revelist.com. “We don’t really get to see Black baby bumps and when we [do], people have a negative reaction to it, for some reason, like it’s vulgar.”

She told the site that she is focusing on positive things for the remainder of her pregnancy.
“Pregnancy is a beautiful time and I enjoy sharing mine. It’s a shame that people see that openness and view it as an opportunity to bully or criticize,” she said. “However, I never let that bother me. I realize that those issues are not mine and have nothing to do with me. My happiness and confidence couldn’t possibly be determined by anyone externally, especially not on social media.”
She has a lot to be grateful for this past year and the year to come. She told BET.com that she will be the face of Black Radiance cosmetics company’s line for darker complexioned women.
