Academy-Award winning actress Natalie Portman put her bump on full display this weekend during the DC premiere of her latest film Jackie. The Black Swan star went with a figure-hugging grey pencil-length jersey dress with ruching on the side.
Portman and her husband Benjamin Millepied are expecting their second child. The couple are parents to 5-year-old son Aleph.
Baby is due in Spring and naturally because Portman has “popped” a lot of people think she is a lot further along that she actually is.
“Everyone thinks I’m about to pop and about to give birth at any minute and I have months to go.” While Natalie looks to be far along in her pregnancy, People reports she told Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday.
Portman correctly attributed it to the fact that she is so tiny and thus looks “more pregnant” than she really is.
“I’m a small person in general. You show a lot faster and a lot more when you’re small.” Last month, she looked radiant in a white Spring 2017 Christian Dior gown at a screening at American Film Institute’s Festival. She paired the gown with a white blazer and open-toe sandal as she promoted her biopic.
Two of my favorite Oscar winning international actresses, the talented Natalie Portman and Marion Cotillard, looked radiant while promoting their respective upcoming movies at screenings this week.
Israeli born Portman went with a striped gown by The Row at the Israel Film Festival Gala in Beverly Hills on Wednesday, November 9 with her hair in a half-up, half-down style with nude makeup . The Academy Award winner polished doff her look with simple hoops by Eddie Borgo and a Vic Minaudière clutch.
Portman stars in Jackie.
Meanwhile, French actress Cotillard stars in a new WWII drama Allied alongside costar Brad Pitt and looked fabulous in a navy Christian Dior maxi dress accented with an embroidered white hand-strap clutch by Dior, and side swept coifed hair at a fan event for the film at the Regency Village Theatre on November 9, 2016 in Westwood, California.
Both women have 5-year old boys at home.
Cotillard, who starred in Inception. and her longtime partner of 9-years Guillaume Canet are expecting their second child together. The couple are parents to 5-year old son Marcel.
Portman and her choreographer husband Benjamin Millepied are parents to 5-year old son Aleph.
I usually reserve my International Bumpwatch posts for Saturdays but I couldn’t help but early share this majestic maternity photography of an expecting National Korean Ballerina, Hyo Seon Park.
Artistic and editorial photographer BAKi captured Park en pointe and looking breathtaking as she balances on her toes whilst adjusting for the added weight in her belly!
It is reminiscent of the photo shared widely of Lumina Belle, taken when the trainer of Natalie Portman for The Black Swan was heavily pregnant but still dancing ballet.
There are also photos of Park with her spouse too in some nice pics.
Weekends are for casual wear and if you are a expecting celebrity, you can expect the papps to be there to capture every moment. And so it was for these four actresses who were featured in the media recently:
Olivia Wilde was looking super cute in overalls accessorized with a choker and cute leather tote bag in Hollywood. (In Style)
Teresa Palmer went with an off the shoulder Bohemian dress and sandals. (Daily Mail)
Natalie Portman opted for a floral top over comfy denim deans and sandals (In Style )
Katherine Heigl did a grey v-neck tea with cropped yoga pants (In Style)
Natalie Portman is expecting a second child with husband Benjamin Millepied.
An unnamed source confirmed the news to Us Weekly on Thursday.
Portman, 35, was comfortable showing her new baby bump Thursday during the premiere of her film Planetarium at the Venice Film Festival. Us Weekly reported that the Jewish Oscar winner for Black Swan rubbed her stomach on the red carpet.
Portman and Millepied, 39, who coached her in ballet on the set of Black Swan have a 5-year-old son, Aleph. The family, who lived in Paris for two years while Millepied headed the Paris Opera Ballet, recently moved to Los Angeles.
The Israeli-born actress’ other highly anticipated film, “Jackie,” in which she portrays Jackie Kennedy, premiered at the festival on Wednesday and garnered positive reviews.
