Memorial Day Weekend will be here before we know it! While this year will certainly be different for most of us — even as Covid restrictions are lifted and more people get vaccinated, life still isn’t back to normal here in New York — it’s still one of my favorite long weekends of the year. Memorial Day weekend really marks the beginning of summer for me. We’re likely headed to the lake for sailing, hiking, paddle boarding, barbecuing, and relaxing. Even though it’ll just be the four of us (and Dakota!), I’m still excited to get away and to enjoy a change of scenery. I’m already thinking of what I’m going to pack for the weekend, especially since I usually end up packing for everyone so I never like to save it until the last minute. When it comes to Memorial Day outfits, I like to keep my look casual and comfy but I still want to look festive and cute.
