Expecting Celebs Are Rocking Braids Protective Hair Style

I’ve long believed that braided hairstyles are the best style to wear for your last trimester of pregnancy leading up to labor and delivery and shortly thereafter.

Why? The style requires very little maintenance after installed and can be kept in for a longer while. Once a silk head wrap is worn at night, the style remains neat without having to be loosened, washed and re-braided daily.

That’s great when you’re too busy nesting, adjusting to the aches and pains of preparing for birth and thereafter when your time is consumed with caring for your newborn.

Several of the celeb women we follow who are currently pregnant have been wearing braided protective style of late: Tia Mowry and Toya Wright are going with cornrows and Eva Marcille is rocking faux locs.

Its been a while but the locs are coming back!!! Gotta love protective styles??

How to Rock Heels While Preggers

When you are preggers and your center of gravity is thrown off as you adjust to new weight distribution, it is probably wise to avoid high heel shoes. They are hazards and dangerous to the life you are incubating if heaven’s forbid, you were to trip and fall.

The risk is higher when you’re expecting. This is true even if you are not partial to dizzy spells or the like.

So what is a fashionable gal who doesn’t really “do” tennis shoes or flats to do? You can go with the next best thing low kitten heels or low wedges. Don’t fret, kitten heels have come a long way in fashion history and you can find a wide assortment in various price points at shoe stores and department stores. You can get great deals on designer and name brand shoes from discount outlets like Simms, TJ Maxx, Marshall’s, Ross and Burlington Coat Factory if you have those stores where you live.

Online is your next best thing.

Stores like Zappos and Overstock.com have awesome deals. I’ve curated some of the hot shoes I spotted surfing my partner’s at Shopstyle‘s pages. Personally, although I am not preggers, I can’t handle high heel shoes like I used to but I prefer the height boost that comes from wearing heels.

Kenya Moore Fans Think She’s Giving off a Pregnancy Glow In Her Recent IG Photo

I watched Bravo TV’s Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore when she was on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen last week. When host Cohen, the head of programming at the popular network, asked her if she was pregnant and she said something to the effect to, “I can’t say.” I took that to mean perhaps yes.

Moore recently sat down on the Wendy Williams Show where she addressed the pregnancy rumors by saying: “We have been very upfront about wanting to have kids together. I am not saying either way [if I am pregnant or trying] when I am able to say; I will be happy to tell the world.”

This week, the newlywed reality TV mainstay shared a photo which her fans believe reveal a pregnancy glow. Check it out:

Celebs dress up for red carpets, premieres, and Tv appearances and on weekends, while running errands and traveling, they get to dress down.

But because they’re always being photographed, they don’t have the luxury of looking bad even on their days off.

Couple Conceives A Baby While Taping New BravoTV Show ‘Stripped’

This week, the first couple featured on the new BravoTV show called Stripped revealed that they conceived their first child while taping the reality TV show experiment that required them to start off the show naked and void of all of their material possessions.

Accountant Justin and his wardrobe stylist wife Ali revealed at the end of the show, which is about going 21 days with nothing, that they are expecting a baby and that Ali is 6 months pregnant.

On the show, participants are allowed to retrieve one item they “cannot live without” each day from an offsite storage locker that contains all their stuff. The shop is about exposing people’s personal relationships with their personal belongings and how their lives and values change once all their material possessions are stripped away. The stars of the show are expected to go about their daily lives by showing up to work, maintaining their families and keeping up with social circles – without their everyday necessities.

On day one, Ali gets a dress but Justin comes back with a couch on which they make a baby on! Funny stuff!

They bathe in their pool and brush their teeth with honey and lemons. They both state in the end that the show forced them to communicate with each other and Justin said he used the opportunity to convince Ali to finally start a family!

Well, that worked!

The show airs every Tuesday at 10pm on the cable TV channel.

It’s getting cold so it’s boots weather and because I’m always on the go, these Converse boots are a combo of my active sneakers and my riding boots and are Perfect! They are different and will turn heads.

I lost these very same glasses a month after I got them this year so a replacement would be great. I love these frames. They fit my face wonderfully.

4. Apple iPad Pro $30 per month+

I love that the iPad Pro is large enough to function as a laptop and a tablet. I checked out the specs and other functionalities and they’re tops. I’d love to get one of these one of these on Christmas morn.

5. Burberry Small Leather & Canvas Check Henham Cross body Bag • Burberry • $595

I don’t go anywhere without my Coach cross body bag. It lets me keep my hands free and my bag secure to my body. I would love to get a larger one that can fit more things and can let me give my other bag a rest. This Burberry cross body bag would be ideal!

6. Marc by Marc Jacobs Door Knob iPhone 6 Case • Marc by Marc Jacobs • $88

I have been using the massive protective Otter case that I purchased when I got my iPhone 7 for the longest time because not a lot of manufacturers of chic cases had them available when I first got it. I’m a selfie queen so a stylish alternative to the boring grey I have now would be amazing!.
