Jennifer Hudson and Kim Kardashian Fashion Showdown

It’s quite easy for stars to wear the same dresses given that designers make available to stylists the same spectrum of options. Our Bellyitch Bumpwatch alums Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Hudson have been captured often in the same outfit within days of one another over the years.

Per the above photo: in April 2011, in an Alexander McQueen epaulet top; last October 2013, in a Donna Karan Draped Plunging-Neck Dress; in March 2013, in a Donna Karan Metallic Foldover Stretch Pencil Skirt;and again in 2011 again, in Herve Leger by Max Azria.

Each outfit would set someone back over $1,000 each, but we’ve hand picked low budget options that cost under $50 each for the same look! Check it out:

Trend: Psychic Pregnancy Readings; Win a Reading NOW!

Psychic Pregnancy readings are a thing now. As we noted here and here, moms and moms-to-be are turning to psychics for readings on their baby’s gender, what the baby’s temperament will be like and whether they will actually conceive in the near or far future.  Even Parents.com held an online psychic reading.
Some may find it creepy and not want to “go there” or even know these answers and would rather find out for themselves. Others see the fun and no harm in a reading.
Do you want one or know of a currently preggers friend who does? If so, you’re in luck! Psychic Source is offering a free session with one of their featured psychics Kristine to one Bellyitch Reader! This page deails the different types of readings available.
To enter to win the reading, simply enter below. Contest open WORLDWIDE and ends next Friday, July 11 at midgnight! Goodluck!
Before we pick a winner and if you don’t win, you can also check out this interactive online psychic reading tool: http://www.psychicsource.com/psychic-advice.

Despite Tourrettes: How Soccer helped Tim Howard avoid childhood bullying

Yesterday, if you were watching and rooting for the United States as the team played Belgium in the semi-finals of the FIFA World Cup, you may be heartbroken to learn they lost. However, if you were watching the match, you might have seen the amazing 16 saves that goalie Tim Howard made all match. His 28 total saved for the entire tournament is the most for any goalie for all teams this year.
It’s a great feat for extra reasons.
Howard, a fixture on the US Men’s National Team (USMNT) since 2007 had to overcome a life living with Tourettes Sydrome and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).
Fortunately for Howard, he didn’t have to deal with bullying too much because he was a big kid and he played sports. His athleticism made him popular and because of that, he wasn’t ostracized or treated as an outcast as much despite being different.  Howard said he dealt with the condition by internalizing it.
“If I was having a tough spot, one day, one week…I just went into my own shell, kept more to myself,” Howard said in the April/May issue of Neurology Now. “From the age of 9 to 15, it was just this chaos of different tics, and they were pretty strong. I would just begin to figure out how a tic worked with my body, and, bam, six months or a year later, a new tic would come…On the field I wasn’t Tim who had TS or Tim who had tics. I was Tim who scored goals or scored baskets or hit home runs.”
For Howard’s athletic prowess and being a role model by speaking out and in support and awareness of TS and showing by virtue of being a star this World Cup, he is a hero and role model.
For his leadership in sports today and way before most Americans started to really pay attention to this awesome athlete today, I’ve nominated him to be added to the celebrity division of a new Warner Brothers Consumer and DC Entertainment program Superman Hall of Heroes which empowers consumers to honor their personal heroes or those who have made a positive impact on their lives of the lives of others.
Surely, there are others who are not in the spotlight doing amazing things and not seeking recognition.
You can induct your very own personal or local hero.
Visitors to the site can select a package level starting at $24.95 which can include things like an inductee certificate or commemorative T-shirts, coffee and sports tumblers, baseball caps or golf towels  with the Superman logo on it.
It’s a cool idea and a perfect gift for a dad who has everything or to that selfless man in your life or community doing the darn thing and not expecting anything in return.

Stacy Keibler does one of those things every mom-to-be should do before baby arrives

Stacy Keibler is having the total pregnancy experience, especially because she is doing one of the things I highly recommend all expectant moms do before their babies are born: play soothing music to their baby in utero.
The Pilates instructor and former WWE wrestler shared on her Instagram stream a bare belly photo showing her using the Belly Buds Baby-Bump Sound and music delivery system we blogged about in the past
In that review of the system, I shared how I played the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies from The Nutcracker Ballet often for my son (born in 2002) when he was still baking in my belly. After he was born, whenever he got fussy, that was the one song we would put on that would calm him instantly. He would cock his head towards the music and listen curiously because clearly, he remembered teh song and the familiarity comforted him.  Having this trick work was a God-send especially during long car rides when, then, as a first time mom, hearing a baby cry while strapped in a back rear-facing seat was the WORST!
I’m a big believer in phonetic learning even passively! Pick up a pair from our affiliate Amazon.com for $49.99. It will be worth the investment later in sanity! ha!
Best thing moms-to-be can do for their babies and their future sanity when those kids come out into this cold cold world! lol!

Keibler and her fiance tech investor Jeff Pobre are expecting their first child, a daughter.
She shared a photo of all the ladies that came out to celebrate the baby’s impending arrival in early June.

Kelly Rowland is not the first celebrity to work out intensely while pregnant

Just saw on The Wendy Williams Show mention that Kelly Rowland is apparently catching a lot of flak from fans on the Internet over her Instagram pics showing that the Destiny’s Child band member and chart topping solo artist has been having an active pregnancy which includes working out regularly.

Unfortunately, many of her critics must be unaware that maintaining an active lifestyle including regular exercise is actually recommended by doctors so long as it is done in moderation, is balanced with hydration and a healthy diet and is keeping with the type of activity the mom-to-be had before she got pregnant. In other words, inactive cubicle hermits shouldn’t be doing what she is doing to stay fit while pregnant but a globe-trotting performer who dances regularly can. Furthermore,  she is not the only physically active and currently pregnant celebrity. MTV’s Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, who is expecting her second child currently with fiance Jionni LaValle,  frequenlty shares photos from the gym during this second pregnancy.
Also,  former WWE wrestler Stacy Keibler, who also known for being the long time ex girlfriend of George Clooney has been on several fitness magazines and done many interviews where she shares all of her work out secrets. She does Pilates 4 times a day and for the “Making of” video for her Fit Pregnancy cover shoot, she explained that she has been working out most days of her pregnancy doing  muscle toning work outs sometimes four times a day, playing tennis, hiking, golfing and meditating. Her trainer noted  in that Daily Mail article that said Keibler doesn’t eat junk food and eats clean. During her recent baby shower, hosts provided guests healthy  sugar-, dairy- and gluten-free foods. Again, it’s all about the type of woman she was before pregnancy. It doesn’t change after pregnancy and  just because you didn’t used to see it in social media doesn’t mean Rowland wasn’t a work out fiend before.
Other celebrities like Married to Jonas star  Danielle Jonas, who recently welcomed her first child with husband Kevin Jonas, Instagrammed themselves working out often during their respective pregnancies and didn’t seem to get much push-back.
Alec Baldwin‘s Pilates Instructor wife Hilaria Baldwin,  Kristin Cavallari, Teresa Palmer and international model Doutzen Kroes all Instagrammed themselves working out during their pregnancies. (see above collage)

We are very proud of our Bellyitch Bumpwatch alums Ivanka Trump, Daphne Oz, Kristin Cavallari, Danielle Jonas, Emily Deschanel, Molly Sims for their Fit Pregnancy  magazine covers and hope to see one of Kelly soon!
