RHOA’s Phaedra Parks says cast mate Kenya Moore is Pregnant

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore may be expecting her first child, according to co-star Phaedra Parks who dropped the gem while filling in for her friend and other co-star Porsha Williams on her TV show Dish Nation.

“Honey, I did hear that one of her NON best friends might be having a bundle of joy, so maybe she can be the godmother,” Parks said on-air while pointing to reports that Moore has been going to sperm banks and doing in-vitro fertilization. “I think so, and some coffee. And she peddles around in sperm banks…That’s what someone told me, but I haven’t confirmed it because I’m not a gynecologist. Only Jesus knows who that baby daddy is, if it is true.”

When asked to clarify her statements on a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Next on Bravo, Parks said “that’s what I heard. I have not confirmed if it is true.”

Hmmm. She could be in those precious early weeks. Who knows.

The former Miss USA is currently dating Matt Jordan, who has appeared on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

She has made it clear in past seasons that she is very eager to become a mother.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays at 8pm on Bravo.

2016 Grammys Red Carpet: All Black Everything, Slits & Lesser Known Designers

Ok. This 2016 Red Carpet report is very late because this year, instead of just covering the Red Carpet, I actually took the time I usually spend to assemble my red carpet coverage to instead actually watch the show. Wrong move.

Besides a few highlights, the 58th annual Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California was very underwhelming. Even the fashion on the Red Carpet was * meh * .

One of the best parts wasn’t even in the show, but our Bellyitch Bumpwatch alum Gwen Stefani doing the first ever Live Music Video of her latest single “Make Me Love You” in a Target sponsored spot.

I kept wanting the award show broadcast to get better but it didn’t really rise the level of awesomeness I’m used to. Anyway, so enough of my excuses. Back to the Red Carpet coverage.

This year, the theme I saw woven in many of the looks was Black. Also there were plenty deep Slits in the leg and I saw several lesser-known designers shine.

As usual, while many people stood out, we focused on the celebrity moms we’ve featured on the blog before.

Alessandra Ambrosio stayed true to Versace and her ring game was on fire!

TV host and former reality TV star Vanessa Simmons looked quite regal in yellow.

Ciara bared leg and then some in a sexy Alexandre Vauthier Haute Couture gown. I dare say she won the battle of whose slit could go up the farthest.

And Carrie Underwood looked stunning in a Nicolas Jebran satin ball gown also with a deep side slit.

Adele stuck to her signature black in a sequinned Givenchy dress accented with Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

Mom-to-be Chrissy Teigen looked quite royal in Yousef Al-Jasmi with Stuart Weitzman heels and Lorraine Schwartz jewels. Between the heels and the long cape, I admit I was biting my nails in hoping she didn’t trip given she’s in her third trimester of her pregnancy.

Vanessa Lachey went for the vixen look in her Michael Cinco butterfly overlay sequined dress with a very sheer bottom.

Adele did deviate from black and went with Givenchy again for her stage performance of her latest single “All I Ask”.

She had a slight glitch in the beginning when the mics for the piano apparently fell off and landed on the baby grande’s strings. It made her sound off pitch or key at times. Apparently, those in the Staples Center couldn’t tell as they heard a near flawless version of the song.

Look who has popped?

Third time mom-to-be Ivanka Trump recently shared a photo of her baby bump on her Instagram account.

“I crashed a shoot taking place in our office this week for our new apparel collection and my team snapped me walking past the set,” she captioned a photo. “Wow, has this bump popped!”

Trump and her husband Jared Kushner are parents to 2-year old Joseph and 4-year old Arabella.

The business mogul also recently shared an endearing photo of herself with the kids in bed. Sweet!

And as we reported earlier, the fashion designer is still stumping for her dad and spoke at an event in New Hampshire last weekend.

So is 2nd-time mom-to-be Chelsea Clinton who is acting as a surrogate to her mom’s campaign.

Rumor Control: Draya Michele Clears Up Paternity of her 11-Year Old Son

Today is clear up the rumors Friday and our subject is second-time mom-to-be Draya Michele who VH1‘s Basketball Wives who is finally sharing who her son’s dad is.

We and many other media outlets have incorrectly stated that her son’s father is NBA veteran Gilbert Arenas, but it is not.

Draya took to Instagram this week to clarify the falsehood:

Here is Draya ….. At 17 years old I got pregnant by a man who became incarcerated for 10 when I was 7 months pregnant. With help from my mom, I was able to survive. Now, judging by how under-developed and young I was, besides living in a very small city in PA….. There’s no way in 2002 I got pregnant by some athlete. If I had, there’s not a chance in fucking hell I would have wasted 7 years of my life working “in the club” because clearly child support would be on fleek. I have never received A DIME of child support in my life and that’s ok. I have also NEVER attempted to say anyone other than who my son is named after (yes he’s a junior) was the father. My son’s father lives in pa and makes an honest living being a barber. This shit is completely embarrassing to me and my family. And I intend on putting this to final rest. I’m pissed that I had to take time from remodeling my office in my brand new 4000 square foot warehouse to even address this. But I’ve been quiet too long. I’ve also let people tell “my story” on tv too many times. I’ll speak my truths….. You speak your own and keep whatever momentum going by doing that. God bless. Draya Michele (real name Andraya Michele Howard) is the longest sitting cast member from reality TV show and today owns a clothing and swim suit label.

Second Time Mom-to-Be Kelly Clarkson Landed a Children’s Book Deal

Congratulations to Kelly Clarkson on scoring a children’s book deal.

The chart topping singer/songwriter will release her first picture book, “River Rose and the Magical Lullaby” this October by HarperCollins Children’s Books.

She announced the news on Twitter with a video promo about the book.

The story was originally written as an original lullaby the second-time-mom-to-be wrote for her first child, daughter River. In the tale, a little girl visits the zoo and enjoyed her time there so much that she has a tough time falling asleep later.

The inspiration from the book came from the American Idol champ’s own adventures with her kid. The “Breakaway” singer welcomed her first child with husband Brandon Blackstock in June 2014.

30 Celebrity Moms We’ve Profiled Who Have Since Split with their Kid’s Dad

Breakups happen! When it comes to several of the celebrity women we have ‘bump watched’ over the course of the 8 years of this blog’s existence, they’re not interested in sticking it out for the baby when the relationship heads south.

And thus, not only is BellytichBlog an institution that chronicles celebrity births, it also is a memoriam, of sorts, to relationships that once were. A significant number of pregnancies we’ve bumpwatched from pregnancy through birth were part of unions that have since dissolved.

The most recent is Idris Elba and his make up artist Naiyana Garth who reportedly just broke up. The couple welcomed their first child together in April 2014.

And the breakups aren’t always pretty.

Just this week, songstress and model Ciara filed a $15 Million defamation lawsuit in response to comments her ex hip hop artist Future has said about her in the media, traditional and social media.

Last week, Amber Rose found herself caught in the middle of a Twitter beef between Kim Kardashian‘s husband Kanye West and her ex Wiz Khalifa. West mentioned Rose and Wiz’s son Sebastian and Rose had to go off on him, revealing some intimate deets about their sex life when they were together, obviously to embarrass him and teach him a lesson about dragging her into his social media fights.

“I wouldn’t have said anything if it was just between him and Wiz,” Rose said on theAllegedly podcast. “That’s two grown men hashing it out. That’s their business. I would have kept it cute and just minded my business, but you don’t bring in my baby. That’s so corny.”

She and Kim posted the same “usie” on their respective social media accounts to signal the truce.

Last Summer was a big heartbreak time with the breakups of Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, Sienna Miller and Tom Sturridge, Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick, Charlize Theron and Sean Penn and Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton.

Some celebs have broken up before the baby was even born: Christina Milian, Kelis, Heidi Klum and January Jones and many more split with their respective partners before they even gave birth.

Or shortly thereafter…. A couple of year ago, Ciara, Eva Marcille (nee Pigford) and Amber Rose split with their partners before each of their babies turned 6 months old. A few years ago, Selma Blair and her ex Jason Bleick split up 14 months after welcoming their first child together.

No matter what happens, most children grow up in wonderfully co-parenting situations and survive and thrive!

How this Husband & Wife App Development Team will Help Jessica Alba’s Honest Co’s IPO

The Fantastic Four actress Jessica Alba‘s holistic and organic baby products company, The Honest Company is set for its IPO (initial public offering) soon, speculators say. A husband and wife-founded pregnancy and parenting apps company will be integral to Honest’s IPO launch and future growth.

Here’s the backstory.

Back in 2009, a then pregnant Jennifer Wong and her husband Casey Sackett realized there was a void in available apps for expectant mothers. The duo created BabyBump, a pregnancy and social network app for expectant mothers. The couple eventually expanded the portfolio to include PinkPad, a menstrual and fertility tracker. and Kidfolo, a parenting social network. BabyBump reached 8 million downloads in 2013. The combined apps are run under the couple’s StartUp called alt12 and today boast 4.5 million downloads across the entire portfolio of apps. After growing such tremendous database of users, Aydin Senkut‘s Felicis Ventures got participation from InterWest Partners and Ron Gutman, an investor form HealthTap to help alt12 raise $1.26 million in seed funding.

Last year, Alba’s Honest company quietly acquired alt12. After the acquisition, PinkPad which used to cost $1.99-$2.99 and a paid $3.99 version of BabyBump all became FREE. The married couple now run mobile at Honest Co and as of January 2015, Wong is Head of Mobile Apps there and Sackett is Head of Mobile Apps Engineering.

As the sleuths at MobileHealthNews.com hypothesize, Honest co will be looking to exploit what alt12 brought to the table: its Sliprose technology platform. That technology marries social networking with social commerce, tracking and analytics: “Native mobile storefront with personalized recommendations based on deep life stage and peer-to-peer engagement.”

So in other words, similar to how UnderArmour purchased MyFitnessTracker and Endomondo to sell their apparel to the download users, Honest Co too will be looking to push its products to the BabyBump, PinkPad and Kidfolo users.

Genius!!! Can’t wait to see all this come into fruition as there are valuable lessons to be learned from this all for appreneaurs and other startup founders in the Health app market.

Another Celeb Baby ‘Rocco’ is born as Rose Byrne welcomes Son

Rose Byrne and her actor partner Third Watch alum Bobby Cannavale welcomed their first child together on February 1.

Cannavale announced the news during an appearance on CBS‘s The Late Show last week.

“I had a baby on Monday, yes,” Cannavale told host Stephen Colbert “You know, I didn’t do anything…We [men] don’t do anything and I’m so tired. I think I’ve gained 28 pounds since Monday. I mean, I’m not kidding you. Like, this jacket fit so well, like, last Thursday. But I’ve been eating so much.”

The other piece of news is that the Bridesmaids actress and beau opted to name their son, Rocco like Madonna and Guy Richie, US Olympic gymnast Shannon Miller, Tv host Jillian Barberie and most recently actress Kathryn Morris and Donald Faison‘s son, both born in 2013.

We love that name!!
