Beyonce is the latest celeb to launch into the athletic clothing brand with her Ivy Park named for her daughter Blue Ivy.

Bey has said the the 228-piece collection aims to promote a powerful message of self-assurance, confidence, inclusivity and diversity, the cornerstones for a generation reared on mindfulness – and it is democratic and accessible.

According to reports, Beyoncé found it depressing that up to 80 per cent of girls give up sport at the age of 13, thus why the line caters to young girls and has a slouchy and comfy aesthetic but with style. The brand was launched in collaboration and partnership with TopShop.

Within hours of the release in April, the brand sold out.

The collection ranges in price from $15 to $265, according to the Topshop website. Here are our fave pieces.

Actress Kate Hudson is a co-founder of Fabletics, which launched in October 2013.

The line is sold online exclusively. Shoppers can purchase individual items or join a VIP membership for lower pricing and outfit recommendations. Hudson has said of the line that she hopes that Fabletics will inspire women to embrace a healthy lifestyle. “That was a huge goal for us, to inspire women to empower themselves by getting active and taking care of their gorgeous selves, not as a fad or a quick fix, but as a way of living that promotes health, community, determination, passion and joy,” she said.

These pink and grey Fabletics leggings run $75 retail.

The Fabletics Salar Space Dye Capri runs about $65.

Grammy-award winning singer and brand new mom Carrie Underwood launched her athletic clothing line CALIA in 2014 while expecting her first child.

The brand was first available at Dick’s Sporting Goods retail stores and then started selling online last March 2015. The name is inspired by the Greek word for beauty, “Kallos”, as well as calla lilies.

CALIA’s collection includes mid-range priced capris and pants, tops and bras as well as accessories such as tote bags, headbands and water bottles. Functionality and design were key; some pockets in CALIA gear were optimized to fit smart phones.

These Essential Printed Panel Capris runs for $70.

Her women’s Essential Fitness zip up Jacket is a big seller perhaps because of its slimming effect. It has wicking technology pulls moisture away from the skin and boasts a rapid evaporation time so you stay dry, cool and comfortable. It’s just $75-$85.

Victoria Beckham Wins the Contest of Celeb Who Wears Her Own Line Most/Best

If there was an award for the celebrity designer who does the best job at wearing and promoting her own line it would go to Victoria Beckham. There isn’t a black and/or white combo the former Spice Girl doesn’t like and whenever she’s spotted out and about, whether by the paparazzi, on a red carpet or doing a press appearance, she is wearing clothing from her high end label.

There is a reason she was named one (and the first) of Bellyitch’s Fashion Mom Icon.

Mrs. David Beckham‘s stuff is classic, chic and basic. They have clean lines and because there is so much black, the clothing can complement well with other pieces and flatter women of different shapes and sizes.

The price points, though steep for most people’s common budgets, still vary. For example, one can nab this cotton blend jumpsuit from her line which is down and half off from $1,600 to $650. It has a slim but boxy fit and could be rocked with patent pumps or sandals.

On the other end of the spectrum is this $3,995 strapless Corset flare wool dress which comes with a diamond broach. It looks fabulous and the A-line is wonderful for accenting a nice neckline while de-emphasizing the hips.

In the middle of that price range is this $1,500 striped knitted top from Beckham. Cute but wow! I think right now, is second with her new line named after her grandparents,

Style Spotlight: Party Clothes for The Curvy Girl

Dude!

So I was shopping in my local mall with my mother-in-law this week and we popped into this hip and trendy clothing store that caters to sizes 12 to 26 only. I was blown away at all the vibrant colors, chic and sexy pieces and accessories in there. My mom-in-law felt it was too young for her, of course, but I could barely get away without snapping a pic of this curvaceous mannequin in a really cute club dress.

I had never seen clothes for curvy and buxom women so youthful before.

I went home and did my research and learned the store Fashion to Figure was founded by two New York city brothers, Michael and Nick Kaplan, who had the fortune of having for a grand mom plus size fashion pioneer Lena Bryant. Yes! That Lena who founded Lane Bryant (Fun Fact: the store is called Lane because she mispelled her name on a bank slip and kept it)

Well it all makes sense now! They have fashion (and money) in their gene pool and I’m so happy the brothers saw the wide open market for H&M and Forever 21 type of clothing for larger sized women and capitalized upon it! They opened their first store in 2004, then several others throughout New York city and currently boast 26 stores, per ABC TV’s Nightline recent plus-size fashion segment that included a snippet of the two.

A Fashionista’s Guide to Wearing Low Heels While Preggers

When you are preggers and your center of gravity is thrown off as you adjust to new weight distribution, it is probably wise to avoid high heel shoes. They are hazards and dangerous to the life you are incubating if heaven’s forbid, you were to trip and fall.

The risk is higher when you’re expecting. This is true even if you are not partial to dizzy spells or the like.

So what is a fashionable gal who doesn’t really “do” tennis shoes or flats to do? You can go with the next best thing low kitten heels or low wedges. Don’t fret, kitten heels have come a long way in fashion history and you can find a wide assortment in various price points at shoe stores and department stores. You can get great deals on designer and name brand shoes from discount outlets like Simms, TJ Maxx, Marshall’s, Ross and Burlington Coat Factory if you have those stores where you live.

Online is your next best thing. Stores like Zappos and Overstock.com have awesome deals. I’ve curated some of the hot shoes I spotted surfing my partner’s at Shopstyle‘s pages. Personally, although I am not preggers, I can’t handle high heel shoes like I used to but I prefer the height boost that comes from wearing heels.

As the pioneer of “maternity chic”, I’ve spent almost 20 years in the maternity clothing business, styling celebrities and forging licensing deals with Nike and Target, and the Liz Lange maternity line available exclusively at Target stores and Target.com.

How to Get Patriotic Hair Color like the Stars

Every year, we like to share photos of celebs in red white and blue hair or clothing in honor of Independence Day, Memorial Day or some other American patriotic holiday. We’ve never shared you how to get that look! Granted, you’d have to be either a rock star or in a career or field where you can get away with wild counterculture colored hair.

To get fire engine red or blue hair, Tish & Snooky’s Manic Panic NYC hair dye is the best for getting that dramatic level of color.

Manic Panic Hair Dye costs under $15 for a jar and comes in Red or Blue (And other bold colors). For white or platinum blonde, go with Arctic Fox in Arctic Frost White.

Unless you start out with blonde hair, you’d have to bleach your hair first in order for the colors to come out as bright as possible.

If you are like most people and wouldn’t want to commit that much to a drastic and dramatic hair color, a wig is your next best thing. Parisian Miss Kacey boasts over 10,000 followers and she isn’t even a teenager yet.

Kyan is the youngest and looks cute in his collection of adorable hats.

Ellington‘s dad manages his account but Alexander Yan‘s mom handles his.

Blogger Collette uses Ryan Gosling as the style for her two sons.

And Lyric Hurd has been a star since her adorable dimpled-pic from when she was 5-years old went viral.

At just 3-years old, Laerta has a wardrobe to die for and um 231, 000 followers to match.
