Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson Name Their Daughter, ‘True’

True Thompson is the newest Kardashian/Jenner baby.

Khloe Kardashian announced Monday that she and her estranged beau Tristan Thompson have chosen to name their first daughter together, True, going with a supremely unique and celebrity-ish name.

“Our little girl, True Thompson, has completely stolen our hearts and we are overwhelmed with LOVE,” she wrote on social media. “Such a blessing to welcome this angel into the family! Mommy and Daddy loooooove you True!”

With cousins named North, West, Saint, Stormi, Dream and Reign, what would one expect? I like True! It has much character, to me.

According to insiders, Khloe is focusing on being mom and less on any controversy or personal turmoil between herself and Tristan.

“Khloe is mesmerized and completely in love with the baby,” a source told E! News. “That’s all she’s thinking about is caring for the baby and being positive.”

Things are still up in the air regarding her personal relationship with True’s dad.

“She hasn’t made any decisions on what she’s going to do regarding Tristan,” the insider explained. “She is overcome with emotion and can’t think about anything other than the baby right now.”

Mom Kris Jenner is in Cleveland helping her daughter out with the first weeks. Kris was also there to help Khloe labor.

“Everyone is focused on helping Khloe and staying positive at this time,” a source previously said. “They want her to be comfortable and not stressed at all. They are focusing on the baby and crying a lot of happy tears at the moment.”

Eva Longoria Honored with Walk Of Fame Star, Promotes New Movie On Kimmel

Yesterday, Desperate Housewives alum and first-time mom-to-be Eva Longoria was honored with a Star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame in Hollywood, California.

Her good friend Victoria Beckham, who also designed Longoria’s wedding dress when she married media mogul Jose “Pepe” Baston, and her friend Ricky Martin, who sang is hit song “Livin La Vida Loca” at her wedding, attended the occasion along with her friend and Overboard film co star and our Bellyitch Bumpwatch alums, Anna Farris.

The Devious Maids alum recently stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! to promote her role in Overboard, a gender flipped remake of the Kurt Russell/Goldie Hawa cult classic film.

During the segment, while outfitted in a white bump hugging mini dress and a white duster, Longoria discussed her pregnancy and becoming a first-time mom.

“Yup, all I talk about nowadays is baby stuff,” Longoria, who is about two months away from having her first child with businessman Jose “Pepe” Baston, joked.

Although she says she has been “uncomfortable,” Longoria, who is also a step mom to Baston’s 20-year old son and 13-year old twins, says “feels great.”

“Everything’s uncomfortable,” she admitted. “Everything gets bigger. It’s not just your belly, like, I’ve never seen my thighs so big, and my boobs… they’re in the way of everything. It’s hard.”

Discomfort aside, Longoria admitted that she often does forget that she’s even expecting, a sentiment she also recently shared with ET.

“The other day, I was sleeping and the alarm went off, and I was gonna jump out of bed. And I was like, ‘What’s happening? I can’t get up!'” she quipped to Kimmel, adding that she also had another memory lapse recently when she suggested a ski trip to her husband.

“My husband and I were talking about going snow skiing, and I was like, ‘Oh my God, we should go next weekend, we’re free!'” she said. “And he goes, ‘No! You’re pregnant!'”

When the parents to be initially found out Longoria was pregnant, she said her husband was concerned about how they were “going to keep this under wraps.”

“I was like, ‘They’ve been saying I’m pregnant every month for the last 20 years of my life. It’ll be so easy,'” she admitted. “I had a burger, and they’re like, ‘Eva’s pregnant!’ And I had a pizza, and they’re like, ‘Baby bump!’ (we are guilty!)

And finally, the tabloids came out, and they’re like, ‘Eva’s gained weight.’ And I was like, ‘I am pregnant!'”

As for her delivery plans, she shared that both her and Baston’s “large families” will be coming out, though she doesn’t particularly want them to — and especially doesn’t want anyone in the delivery room.

“I don’t want anybody there. I need to absorb this moment by myself,” Longoria confessed. “I’ll end up taking care of them and cooking for them and making sure they’re OK. I don’t have time! But they’re coming.”

When Kylie Jenner released her YouTube video announcing that she gave birth, a few people nudged established YouTubers because the 20-year old brand new mom blew them out the water by getting 34 million and counting views within 24 hours of the release.

“To Our Daughter” already has 28 millions views, and is the number one trending video. Even veteran YouTubers are bowing down to her success.

no pressure to youtubers but kylie released a video that’s decent in length, probably has good retention, and all it took was a secret baby

She has also been rumored to transform her famous selfie make up brand and become a mommy blogger.

“As soon as the baby is born, she will make an announcement and introduce the baby to her fans. She will also address the fact that she went ‘dark’ on social media and in the public,” a source which accurately predicted it all told Entertainment Tonight “Yes, she will release a photo, and yes, she will acknowledge the baby. She’s excited to continue to be her authentic self, and that will soon mean being a mother and sharing that with her fans.”

And apparently, if this is true, the Kylie Cosmetics founder she will be part of a trend of former beauty influencers and bloggers who have recently given birth and may be considering shifting the focus of their presence to center on parenting and mommying.

Mommy Blogger Picks Fight with Preggers Khloe Kardashian, Gets Internet Famous

Kylie Jenner, Khloe Kardsahian and Kim Kardashian-West for Calvin Klein #MyCalvins campaign

What’s a great way to elevate your blog brand? Pick a fight with a pregnant Kardashian!

That’s what mommy blogger Carmen Carmen of A Side of Crunchy did when she decided to respond to first-time mom-t0-be Khloe Kardashian‘s social media rant about stretch marks.

Her feud was featured inside an issue of the Daily Mail this weekend.

“I now have cellulite on my legs! Cute! Cute! ‘Pregnancy may make cellulite look worse for a while, because the weight that you gain in pregnancy could make it more noticeable” the seven-month pregnant Kardashian tweeted. “I feel like I’ve always had cellulite but it’s way more prominent at the moment.”

She continued that she hadn’t had any stretch marks yet and “I’m happy about that….the perks of being chubby previously. Lol my tummy knows how to stretch.”

That’s when Carmen piped in to reply, “‘Embrace it you wanted a baby!”

That response triggered the Good American apparel company co-founder to snap back: “How do you know that I’m not embracing it? I am enjoying every moment! I love it all. My body is a real body just as yours is. Every woman has different shapes and sizes. That’s the beauty of us being women.”

And then it went on from there.

Khloe previously had to clap back at some of her followers who criticized her for continuing to rigorously exercise while pregnant. These reactions probably explains why she (and baby sister, Kylie) have been reluctant to come out.

4 Women Who Came Back From Pregnancy to Take Tennis Grand Slam Titles

The naysayers who think pregnancy, childbirth and motherhood signal the end of a fantastic phenomenal sportswomen’s career are wrong. Very wrong.

In fact, a lot of women report the challenge of momhood drives them to try even harder and to best their game, as Tennis.com‘s Ed McGrogan correctly analyzed about Serena Williams‘ likelihood of making a comeback.

“Whether Serena would consider continuing to play as a “challenge,” or something she simply wants to do as a mother, it’s far easier for me to picture her playing again, rather than the alternative,” McGrogan writes.

She would not be the first as several women have done similar — gone from giving birth to go on to beat the field and rise back to the top and earn a Grand Slam title.

The legendary Margaret Court , the pre-Open era woman who has won the most majors, 24, won three majors after giving birth to her son in 1972.

Williams, who has the most since 1968 when professional players were allowed to compete with amateurs, the s0-called Open Era, is chasing Court’s record. With one more Grand Slam Title, she will tie it and with two more she will surpass it. If Williams follows Court’s lead, she will break the record, albeit now is a time when the field of competition is even tougher than ever before.

Kim Clijsters won three of her 4 Grand Slams after the birth of her child.

Lindsay Davenport won 3 of her 55 Career titles after giving birth to her son.

An Olympic Gold medalist and seven times Grand slam winner, in 1914, Dorothea Lambert Chambers became the first mother to win a Grand Slam crown.

There are at least two other major female players to make mommy comebacks and silence all the critics and naysayers!

Too soon, ma, too soon!

7 Fun Ways to Read To and With Your Baby

by Kathryn Brown Ramsperger

Do you love to read and want your child to fall in love with books, too? Do you want them to get the academic and emotional benefits literature offers?

Here are some tips that you can start now, while you’ve still got your baby in your tummy, which will help instill a love of reading, greater empathy for others, and better bonding with you, their one and only mommy:

Start reading to them early.Babies can hear us as early as the early second trimester. At first they hear the tone and cadence of your voice, which promotes bonding, a voice they’ll carry with them always. Yet babies also learn in the womb by the last trimester. Reading to your belly will not only make them long for books once they’re born, they’ll make you two closer to each other.

  1. Don’t worry about what you read to your belly. They love your voice. Read to reduce your own stress after a long day, and they’ll respond likewise. They hear vowels first, so rhyming books are best early on. Soon, they’ll be begging for you to read those books and others.
  2. Ask for books for your baby shower. As a writer, I always bring books to baby showers, one of my childhood favorites, and one of my own books that my own 20-somethings drew illustrations for when they were little. You can request that your shower guests bring their favorite children’s book, either as an additional gift, or the only one. I mean, who needs one more mint green organic onesie?
  3.   Incorporate books or book themes in the nursery. Make sure there’s a bookshelf in their room filled with books. You’ll need a place to put all your shower, gifts, right? Plus, if your bookshelf is DIY, it will be something they’ll treasure forever, if you keep copies of their favorite books within its shelves. Primary colors and a favorite saying from a book you read each night, or their initials, will attract even the most sporty toddler. Make sure your bookcase has one empty shelf for them to eventually choose their own books.
  4. Read them books that echo their experience and perspective. My daughter is adopted. My son had to have surgery at 10 months. The books I chose for my daughter were completely different than those I chose for my son. My son loved Dr. Seuss‘ “Mr. Brown Can Moo and Sendak’s “Where The Wild Things Areand a Sesame Street book about a hospital stay. My daughter’s two favorites were Eileen Spinelli‘s “When Mama Comes Home Tonight” and Rose Lewis‘ “ I Love You Like Crazy Cakes”a book about adoption.
  5. Read them a bedtime story every night. Consistency is key to help them learn language and reading skills, and what better way to say “sweet dreams” than some parent-child together time? Be happy if they make you read it over and over. That means they love being with you and that they’re learning words and a love of reading, too.

Bonus Tip: After you finish reading their bedtime story and kiss them tonight, pick up one for yourself. Children notice what you do even more than what you say. If you have a book in your hand as much as you check your Twitter feed, they’ll notice and will probably follow suit. My novel, The Shores of Our Souls, published by TouchPoint Press, is available on amazon.combarnesandnoble.comibooks.com, and kobo.com, or ask for it at a bookstore near you.

Ayesha Curry Had this Epic Clapback to a Petty Mommy Shamer

TV Chef Ayesha Curry is no stranger to online criticism and she recently had to clap back once again, this time to mommy shamers who seemed to resent her for posting photos of her children and not her nanny. Right?!

While enjoying some down time with her husband during a quick vacay in the UK, the purveyor of the food delivery biz Homemade paused to show off a little slide show presentation of their excursions to her fans and followers in social media.

The positive feedback to the share was interrupted by a troll who asked,”Can the nanny get in the pic too?

He/She or It continued: “We know you aren’t doing the heavy lifting yourself. Wasn’t Riley in this outfit 2 days ago? This pic wasn’t from yesterday. Great on your bro for that free trip.”

While we usually shy away from giving shine to the few squeaky wheels that make the most loud and obnoxious noise for attention, it is really hard to avoid them because their toxicity and harshness can grate the nerves of even the most thick-skinned individual.

Not one to let all the negative ninnies get the last word, Curry clapped back:

“Definitely have a nanny and my mother helping me on the trip. I work a full-time job on top of being a mom like many women do every day. Love every second of it. It takes a village to raise children. Assuming you don’t have any with cryptic and presumptuous comments like these. Please carry on and try your best to do it with positivity and a smile. Women can be mama’s and working women and be great at both. Don’t box us in.”

Good for her! Perfect reply!
