‘Married To Medicine’s Quadd Welcomes Baby Girl via Adoption

Married with Medicine star Quad Webb is the latest Bravolebrity to welcome a child and the second in a few months to do so solo.

Webb introduced the world to her new daughter, Ariana, and recently shared a tender first photo on her Instagram page this week.

Just last week, rapper Iggy Azalea decided to use the Black Lives Matter movement to introduce the world to her new son she had delivered weeks prior with beau and fellow rapper Playboi Carti.

Similarly, Webb did too, using the motto of the movement to share a first photo of a  baby born months ago in April.

“Life is precious, it should be protected and valued #blacklivesmatter,” Quad captioned a photo of her daughter grasping her thumb.

She had previously announced the April birth and plans to retrieve the baby named from her birth home safely during the COVID era.

“It is exciting news, and there are so many moving pieces. My mom and I are extremely happy to welcome baby Ari to her new village,” Quad told Bravo TV‘s media subsidiary The Daily Dish in a statement. “She was born on April 8th, and since then we have been working to get her home to begin what will surely be a joyous, successful and opportunity filled life.”

She also talked about the rapid changes she’s had in her life since finalizing her divorce from Dr. Gregory Lunceford whom she was married to during most of her stint on the Bravo TV franchise show.

“There’s so much happening so fast! I’ve been in the process of looking for a new home, and now it has a completely different meaning,” she shared. “I’m eager and anxious, as my family means so much to me. We thank you in advance for all of your prayers and well wishes.”

Another Bro TVav star Golnesa “GiGi” Gharachedaghi delivered her first child solo as did executive producer and host Andy Cohen who welcomed a son via surrogatre last year.

Congrats!

With New Fatherhood, CNN’s Anderson Cooper Joined the 3 percent

When CNN anchor Anderson Cooper announced on the last day of April last month that he had become a father, he joined the 3% of single men in the United States who become a parent without a partner or spouse.

“On Monday, I became a father,” the heir to the Vanderbilt fortune and popular on air news personality shared at the end of a CNN Town Hall segment. “I have a son.”

He later tweeted that Wyatt Morgan Cooper was born on Monday weighing 7 pounds 2 ounces.

Before Cooper, one of his best friends, BravoTV‘s Andy Cohen also welcomed a baby solo, and similarly, Cohen too announced the news on his nightly talk show Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen

Other famous men who became parents while single include, actor Hill Harper, who adopted a son, while  there is apparently a growing trend of single men turning to surrogacy, according to recent reports.

International soccer star and the most famous person on Instagram, Cristiano Ronaldo, is a surrogate to three children, two of whom were born when he was single.

In 2008, Latin pop sensation Ricky Martin used a surrogate to father twins while he was also without a partner at the time. He has since welcomed a daughter, Lucia, with his husband Jwan Josef.

In a blog post on the E network‘s Daily Dish Blog, an expert explains the trend:

“There are many reasons why some men don’t start a family in their 20s or 30s. But it’s not too late to have a child, even if you don’t have a wife or a female partner? Single men who want to have a biological child of their own, both gay and straight, are starting to turn to IVF and surrogacy,” reports WINfertility, an organization which assists men in becoming single fathers.

“It’s not a simple process — basically, a single man who wants to be a dad needs an egg donor, a gestational surrogate to carry the child, and IVF to make fertilization of the egg and transfer of the embryo possible. There are hormones to take, sperm to donate, tests to undergo, egg testing to be done, contracts to be signed. It can be a years-long process. Which means that if you do it, you really want it.”

But according to Gayle East, owner and director of Surrogate Solutions in Hewitt, Texas, single man surrogacy is becoming more prevalent!

The type of guy who will be willing to undertake such a life-altering move are professionals who are financially stable and ready to settle down but they haven’t found a partner yet.

“They’re single guys who’ve been working in a career, saving money and becoming more financially secure. It’s very doable for them,” says East. “In the past, there was the stereotype of moms raising a family, but they’re seeing same-sex couples with families. And now, watching other guys go through this process will probably give more single guys the courage to do this.”

Congrats to Cooper!

Shahs of Sunset’ Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi Welcomes First Child

Bravo TV‘s Shahs of Sunset star Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi  welcomed her first child, a baby boy!

The entrepreneur and reality TV star announced the news on her Instagram page. “WELCOME TO THE WORLD ELIJAH!!! ❤4/27/20❤” she captioned a post delivery photo of herself giving her newborn skin-to-skin kangaroo love.

“Very happy to report that last night Golnesa Gharachedaghi gave birth to Elijah Javad Gharachedaghi,” her rep told Entertainment Tonight. “The baby arrived last night in Los Angeles at 8:50 p.m., 6.5 pounds, 19.5 inches.”

The rep added: “Everyone is doing great and Golnesa is beyond excited to be a mom and start this new adventure.”

The feisty petite 38-year old was very open about welcoming her first child via in vitro fertlization and a sperm donor. She has stated in that past that though having a baby solo is frowned up on in her Persian culture, she had wanted a baby all her life and was not going to let old traditions get in the way of her dream.

On the Bravo show Watch What Happens Live, the Wüsah owner and cannabis entrepreneur told host Andy Cohen that while she’s had a “great support system” of family and friends, she endure a tough road to pregnancy.

“The biggest struggle I’ve had in general has just been having rheumatoid arthritis and dealing with the pregnancy,” she opened up to Cohen, also sharing that her doctors intended to induce her two weeks before her due date so she could go back to her intense treatment for that autoimmune disease.

According to PEOPLE magazine, “Gharachedaghi used a sperm donor and completed a round of in vitro fertilization (IVF) in August, but nearly lost her life after her first successful embryo transfer in the spring led to an ectopic pregnancy that required emergency surgery and the removal of both fallopian tubes.”

“This is what I wanted my entire life,” Gharachedaghi, 37, told People. “When little girls were talking about their perfect husband and their perfect weddings, I was talking about the 10 kids I was going to have.”

She plans to skip the husband and raise her child on her own. She’s the third cast member to be pregnant following Mercedes “MJ” Javid last Spring and Asa Soltan in July 2017.

She’s totally cool about raising her baby on her own.

“I’m OK right now focusing on me and my baby,” she said. “We’re in a day and age that women are so much more independent, and we’re not necessarily relying on men in order to move forward in life. I can start a family and have my child without being in a relationship right now.”

She added that if she is lucky to meet someone, “That’s great” but she is not interested in getting married in the future or necessarily being with a “forever life partner.”

“My forever will be my child,” she said.

Gharachedaghi got hitched to her on again, off again boyfriend Shalom Yeroushalmi in 2017 but the marriage lasted 7 weeks and they divorced.

The Shahs of Sunset season finale airs Friday at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.

Shahs of Sunset castmember Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi opened up about her IVF journey to her deliberate solo motherhood journey while appearing on an episode of the Bravo TV show Watch What Happens Live this week.

On Tuesday, the Wüsah owner and cannabis entrepreneur told host Andy Cohen that while she’s had a “great support system” of family and friends, she endure a tough road to pregnancy.

The trauma was was likely due to her rheumatoid arthritis, the mag added.

“What I went through a couple of months ago is so traumatizing,” she told PEOPLE when she announced her pregnancy in October, adding that “it’s still very scary.”

The precise process to getting pregnant started after she selected her sperm donor, had her eggs retrieved, then fertilized, developed and tested for genetic over 250 disorders.

“It took a long time, but I walked through each step with this knowledge and excitement that I was going to be a mom someday,” the Bravo star told PEOPLE of the process.

She added:

“This is what I wanted my entire life. When little girls were talking about their perfect husband and their perfect weddings, I was talking about the 10 kids I was going to have.

“I just always knew I’d be a mom someday,” she continued. “I’m finally at this point where I’m ready to make this move. I can’t wait to give this child a life of unconditional love without judgment, the same way my mom has shown me my whole life. I just wish she could teach me how to cook! I still haven’t figured that out yet.”

Kenya Moore Fans Think She’s Giving off a Pregnancy Glow In Her Recent IG Photo

I watched Bravo TV’s Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore when she was on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen last week.  When host Cohen, the head of programming at the popular network, asked her if she was pregnant and she said something to the effect to, “I can’t say.”  I took that to mean perhaps yes.

Moore recently sat down on the Wendy Williams Show where she addressed the pregnancy rumors by saying: “We have been very upfront about wanting to have kids together. I am not saying either way [if I am pregnant or trying] when I am able to say; I will be happy to tell the world.”

This week, the newlywed reality TV mainstay shared a photo which her fans believe reveal a pregnancy glow. Check it out:

Britney Spears outed Zoe Saldana’s Twin Pregnancy

img_5503

In 2014, Zoe Saldana and her husband, Marco Perego, welcomed twin boys, Bowie and Cy. During an interview this week on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Saldana revealed that her friend and former costar, Britney Spears, outed her pregnancy to the press before she and her husband were ready to share the news, People reports.

The Crossroads costars met on an airplane and spent the flight catching up, Saldana said.

“We were on the same flight from L.A. to New York and we just talked for the duration of the flight,” she explained. “She has two boys , I was having twins — and we had a beautiful talk. And I forgot — it never even occurred to me to not to say anything. We weren’t trying to hide it, we were just trying to be discreet.”

A few days later, Spears was asked during an interview with Entertainment Tonight if she and Saldana might work together again someday and the baby news came out.

“Who knows? That’s a very good idea. But she’s pregnant with twins right now. So I’m sure she’s got a huge future ahead of her,” Spears said during the interview.

RHOA’s Kenya Moore is Anxious to Join the Bumpwatch, Fuels Speculation

moore kenya

Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member Kenya Moore  has talked about having a baby for several seasons on her hit BravoTV reality TV show and even went as far as froze some of her eggs and secured sperm from a bank. Now that she is seriously dating fitness trainer Matt Jordan, she’s amped up speculation that she actually is preggers.

Some gossip blogs have pointed out that she looks as if she has gained some weight and is not wearing figure hugging clothing as before. Last February, her co-star Phaedra Parks told a news outlet that she had heard rumors that Moore was indeed with child.

The former Miss America even talked about the IVF process to the media.

“It gets a little complicated, but when a woman ovulates, a certain day you have to come in to get tested to show how many follicles that you are making that ends up being eggs, the eggs that you have to retrieve and grow,” she told OK! magazine. “So it pretty much coincides with your cycle.”

Then, during a recent appearance on the late night show Watch What Happens Live, she teased to host Andy Cohen that she couldn’t confirm if she was pregnant, telling him he would have to wait like anyone else. She also made it a point to let a call-in inquirer know she was drinking water during the show which often features guests drinking alcoholic beverages while appearing on it.

It appears as she is eating up all the “bump watch” and is also egging it on.  She recently posted a photo of herself in social media pushing a babuy stroller and captioned the photo“Practicing with #KingAndTwirl with the baby stroller.”

And recently she told BravoTV online:

If I were pregnant it would be a high risk pregnancy due to my age [She is 45 years old]. I feel more comfortable if and when my doctors feel I am in a safe stage to confirm a pregnancy. I appreciate all the amazing fans who are wishing me well. It feels good to know everyone is rooting for me and my happiness.

Good luck and God speed to her!
