I speculated that perhaps Duchess Meghan of Sussex had given birth at home because she was not captured by photographers leaving her home or arriving.
However, last week, Kensington Palace revealed that the Suits actress, formerly Meghan Markle, gave birth.
Baby Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was born at Portland Hospital, a private hospital on Great Portland Street in London, a copy of the baby’s birth certificate revealed.
With the baby overdue and her somewhat advance maternal age at 36, a hospital was probably better in case of an emergency.
Also, I was wrong about the name Kim Kardashian and Kanye West would have given their newest child, a son, born via surrogate last week.
I and other speculators the baby would be named Robert for two reasons. One, Kim showed an image of the name Robert during a Snapchat and during a recent episode of her reality TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashian a psychic in Bali told Kim and Khloe Kardashian their dad, Robert Kardashian, would be reincarnated in her son.
The couple named the newest arrival Psalm which is a Hebrew word for song and is the name of one of the books in the Bible. A source to E! News told the site that Kanye chose the name “and is a representation of their spirituality.”
The sources explained, “it was a very important to him, and Kim wanted the name to have a significance that held a true representation of their family, so she agreed on the name.”
With rumors already swirling that Duchess Meghan of Sussex will be having an at home birth, it makes sense that the former Meghan Markle and her husband Prince Harry have announced plans to have a private birth.
The baby is due in the next few weeks and Kensington Palace released a statement to the press stating:
“Their Royal Highnesses have taken a personal decision to keep the plans around the arrival of their baby private. The Duke and Duchess look forward to sharing the exciting news with everyone once they have had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family.”
So there will be no photo opp like with Kate Middleton and her babies hours after delivery.
There will be a photo opp later at Windsor Castle. Since Baby Sussex is so far down the line to be a future king, unlike Duchess Catherine and Prince Williams’ children, it’s not really a big deal to force the whole big show protocol.
Although the concept of Baby Showers is pretty foreign to the British, insiders report that Kate Middleton is planning a version of a shower for her sister-in-law, Meghan Markle.
The baby is due in late April, a few days before their first wedding anniversary, and the Duchess of Cambridge will be hosting the intimate event with family and close staff, likely in her home at Kensington Palace.
Even though the royal couple previously said they were keeping the sex of the baby a surprise, according to recent reports, Meghan is apparently expecting a boy.
This would be the Duchess of Sussex’s second shower because he had a nice intimate one thrown by her American celeb friends Serena Williams, Amal Clooney and her Suits co-star last month.
While he won’t be rolling into Kensington Palace, the poor chap will have to settle for his family’s $22 million five-story townhome located in the chic neighborhood of Chelsea.
The Kensington Palace released a statement on behalf of the Duchess and Prince William on the arrival of Pippa’s and James baby. The statement read, “The Duke and Duchess are thrilled for Pippa and James.” Celebrity Baby Scoopreports that Kate didn’t got visit the baby in the hospital because of the paparazzi, something this kid may be spared…or not! ha!
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are soon to be a family of three, skipping the traditional one year as husband and wife thing that Harry’s big bro Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton did.
The royal couple announced the news via the Kensington PalaceTwitter account today, Monday, October 15, about 5 months after the couple tied the not in a lavish culturally rich wedding earlier this year on May 19.
“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019,” Kensington Palace said in a tweet that was also released as a formal statement to the press.

“Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public.”
A source to PEOPLEmagazine told the outlet that Meghan has had her 12-week scan and is “feeling well.”
Unlike Duchess Catherine of Cambridge who was 29 when she got married to Will, Markle was 36 at the time and is currently 37. She is not wasting time.
Markle and Harry started dating back in July 2016 after meeting on a blind date. They kept it hush hush until October 2016. From then, it was warp speed mode through courtship, wedding and now a baby!
So exciting! We cannot wait to follow this bump either! Woot!
It’s baby number 3 for Princess Kate and Prince William!
Kensington Palace confirmed today that the royal family are expecting a third child.
“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child,” a statement from Kensington Palace, released Monday morning, said.
The former Kate Middleton is not yet three months along but is experiencing the same extreme morning sickness as she experienced when she was pregnant with Princess Charlotte and therefore would have to skip out on making appearances, hence the decision to come out with the news earlier than normal.
“As with her previous two pregnancies, The Duchess is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum. Her Royal Highness will no longer carry out her planned engagement at the Hornsey Road Children’s Centre in London today,” the statement said. “The Duchess is being cared for at Kensington Palace.”
Nicky Hilton and her husband British banker James Rothschild celebrated the impending arrival of their first child, a baby girl, at a baby shower this weekend at the Hotel Bel Air in Los Angeles, California on Friday, May 13.
The lavish event was attended by celeb friends including her aunt Kyle Richards of the Bravo TV‘s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and her daughters, La Toya Jackson, Christina Hinds and her famous sis, Paris Hilton.
Guests ate decadent desserts and played baby shower games including the guest the mom-to-be’s girth game, and drink juice through a baby bottle race game and other fun games. As a favor, guests went home with a dessert packed in a baby food mason jar with a photo of the couple as children glued on the face of the jars, insiders shared. Very sweet.
This is the first child for the couple which married last year, July 2015 at Kensington Palace in London, England.
Her guests and vendors shared photos of the blessed event on social media. Here are the best photos:
Some in social media are claiming that Kensington Palace‘s newly released photo of the Royal Family was photoshopped.
They point to Charlotte and claim that the areas around her shoulder are fuzzy but her face is clear. Others claim that because she is wearing the same dress as in the last photo the Palace released in November that she was perhaps inserted into the photo instead of being naturally in that one. The thinking is that the Royals didn’t want a fussy infant to mess up their otherwise “perfect” photo.
Ok beautiful but serious question did they photoshop Charlotte’s smiling face onto her body bc I’m thinking yes https://t.co/S0ZanmTYSv
First, it is possible the recently released photo was taken on the same day and during the same photo session as the one released earlier.
Second, Charlotte is wearing what looks like a fuzzy angora sweater perhaps, which would clearly explain why it looks blurry in the photo.
Finally, the photo is NOT perfect. Charlotte’s shoe is missing because it has fallen off and is on the grass. Prince William is not even looking at the camera but at his son, perhaps in a moment of telling to not run off, or something. William looks to have forgotten to put on his wedding ring. Kate’s hair is a bit windswept and out of place.
Kensington Palace basically laughed at the rumors and Buzzfeed‘s request for comment, though they had no official comment, just laughed their heads off.
This week, the celebrity families we’ve covered in the past, and generally, took to Instagram to share some tender Holiday moments. For example, NickCannon is having a grand time decorating the home with his twins Monroe and Moroccan, and even reuniting with his ex-wife MariahCarey for some fun too.
KensingtonPalace released a new photo of the RoyalFamily, Kate, William, Charlotte and George. The new pic looks like a holiday card but was likely taking in October as Charlotte is wearing the same floral dress from the last photo released of just her sitting in a gingham print chair.
Some celebs are busy finding creative ways to photograph the ElfontheShelf and BusyPhillips is doing a pretty good job.
Here are some other photos celebs shared on Instagram this week.
ChanningTatum caught his two girls, wife JennaDewan–Tatum and their 2-year old daughter Everly dressed as purple mermaids
Kensington Palace today released new photos of Princess Charlotte of Cambridge that her mom Kate Middleton (Duchess Catherine) took recently. In the photos, the adorable 6-months old is sitting in green and blue gingham upholstered chair and laughing at teddy bear in that same chair in another. Both photos were taken by mom.
“The Duke and Duchess hope everyone enjoys these new photos of Princess Charlotte as much as they do,” the Palace captioned the two photos tweeted this morning.
Very cute, though, personally, I’m still partial to her older brother, 2-year old Prince George. Maybe it’s a first born bonding thing or maybe because he has the same name of the county I live in, Prince George’s County, Maryland. ha!
This is the second time the Millennial royal couple broke with tradition and skipped the hiring of the official palace photographer. As with Charlotte and George’s first photos, her taken by mom and George’s (a family photo) taken by Middleton’s dad.
