When you’re a Jenner or a Kardashian, you really cannot catch a break as Khloe Kardashian learned when she did the most natural thing most expecting women do: cradle her bump.
Serious. People are criticizing the Good American Apparel company co-founder for being so emotionally connected to the tiny human she is incubating that she *gasps* dares to touches his temporary home, her baby bump. Kardashian addressed the critics in a tweet this week:
People are very opinionated about my bump. I choose to cradle my bump because it’s MINE. I’ve waited for this VERY short moment for YEARS. I have only months to enjoy this phase in my life, so I will touch my bump and love my bump as often as I choose. Mommy loves you baby! ❤

“People are very opinionated about my bump. I choose to cradle my bump because it’s MINE,” Kardashian wrote in a tweet posted on Wednesday, February 28. “I’ve waited for this VERY short moment for YEARS. I have only months to enjoy this phase in my life, so I will touch my bump and love my bump as often as I choose. Mommy loves you baby!”
She got about 1,000 or so kind responses and then took some time to personally reply back to the kind tweeters and well-wishers.
Whether she is posing for the red carpet or caught by the paparazzi, she should not be attacked for being maternal. I assume most of the hate came from people who have never experienced pregnancy before, either as a mother or a close relative to a pregnant person. It’s because of these occasional barbs from the public that so many people in the public eye elect to try to conceal their pregnancy for the duration. Example: Kylie Jenner.
Kardashian and her beau NBA player for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Tristan Thompson, are expecting their first child, a baby boy.
