Darby, a lifestyle blogger and Yoga instructor, also posted a slideshow of herself doing several different poses.

In California, where marijuana is legal, Kim Kardashian West hosted a baby shower for the impending arrival of her 4th child via surrogacy with a CBD-themed party.
CBD, an extract from marijuana plants, is used for a lot of things including to soothe anxiety, ease pain, relax muscles and more but unlike real weed, it doesn’t give users the same psychoactive high.
Guests sat on the ground and had “sound baths” and made special flower arrangements that included marijuana plants, CBD bath salts and oils to take home.
They also had goodie baskets full of CBD products.
At one point during the event, Kim rose to share that she is freaking out about welcoming a fourth child and told guests to join her in trying to chill out.
On last night’s episode of her and her sisters popular Keeping Up With the Kardashian reality TV show who told them that their dad, famed attorney Robert Kardashian would be reincarnated in the form of one of their children.
So…onlookers noticed the name Robert in Kim’s snap, and are speculating as to whether a kid with older siblings named North, Saint and Chicago would really have such a conventional name as Robert.
Well he could always go as Hatut, the other name she wrote which is Armenian for “He has Risen”, and keeps with the boys being given Biblical-related names. *shrug*

2020 Presidential Candidate Senator Elizabeth Warren is giving me the feels over her recently announced plan to combat maternal mortality and the deplorable way black women in particular are treated when they go to hospitals to give birth in America.
During a an event at Historically Black CollegeTexas Southern University, she said :
“The best studies that I’ve seen put it down to just one thing: prejudice, Doctors and nurses don’t hear African American women’s medical issues the same way as they hear the same things from white women.”
Ok. I’m going to cry! I try not to mix politics with this blog but given this is a public health crisis and an issue that I personally have endured, I’m making an exception.
Warren added to the cheers from the crowd of about 1,700: “I got a plan. I want to talk to the hospitals… in the language they understand: money.”
“The hospitals are just going to get a lump of money, and if they bring down those maternal mortality rates, then they get a bonus, and if they don’t, then they’re going to have money taken away from them,” Warren said. “We’ve got to have change, and we’ve got to have change now.”
A friend of mine recently lost her sister after giving birth. One of her last shares on Facebook had to do with being readmitted to the hospital because the hospital messed up something with her. Now she is gone.
My friend’s sister story, albeit not as extreme, echoes the frustration that even wealthy A-List celebrities like Serena Williams and recently Beyonce Knowlesas shared in her Homecoming Netflix special.
TV Judge Hatchett lost her daughter in law to bad treatment of black mothers and her son is on a campaign to change this all. This is 2019.
This is America, the so-called leading nation of the free world.
My Story
For me, when I told my OB that I wanted to attempt a VBAC, his demeanor and friendliness towards me stopped because he preferred C-Sections he could schedule around his vacation plans.
When I eventually had to succumb to surgery because my son’s heart rate kept dropping with each push, (same thing happened to Beyonce) I was given excessive anesthesia in the operating room, on top of the heavy dosage I had gotten during my epidural. I thought I was going to literally die because the medication suppressed my body cavity so much that I could not breathe… at all…and no one would listen to my whimper for help.
Thankfully, I did not die, but during post-opp when I buzzed for pain medicine, I was not given it despite my repeated buzzing and fell asleep without being given a new dose and awakened to extreme excruciating pain because of the neglect. I had just undergone major surgery and was literally crying.
I gave birth in one of the most poshest and richest hospital in the city and I was certain my treatment there was uncommon of the other guests that include Princesses and children from heads of states of other nations and political elite.
It’s Pandemic
By now we know that the medical profession do no prescribe pain medicine for black patients, black athletes and children because of racist belief that we have a higher threshold for pain.
Kristin Cavallarirevealed in an episode on the second season of her E! reality TV show Very Cavallari that once while on vacation and away from her baby, her breast had gotten clogged and her husband, former Bears quarterback Jay Cutler had to manually unclog it for her.
“I had like, major clogged ducts,” Cavallari tells her friends in the clip. “Jay had to get them out for me. Sucking harder than he’s ever sucked,” adding in a second clip, “and you know what? Saved my life.”
A breastfeeding woman can experience one of her milk ducts getting clogged when the milk doesn’t empty out completely after a feeding or a pumping session, causing a blockage.
In one 2011 study, Refinery 29 pointed out, about 67.5% of breastfeeding women experienced mastitis, an inflammation of the breast often caused by clogged milk ducts, and an additional 4.5% of breastfeeding women experienced clogged milk ducts without mastitis. Both conditions lead to painful, sore breasts, and mastitis may also include a fever and chills. Mastitis can be treated with antibiotics, while clogged ducts can usually be unclogged at home, or with the help of a doctor.
I love that she shared that although I’m sure a lot of people will say they’re grossed out.
Once, years ago, I was attending the BET Awards in Los Angeles with a friend, after giving birth to my son about 6 months prior who I was still nursing my infant who was at home in Maryland with his dad. The pain became so unbearable mid show that I had to go to the bathroom to express the milk in the commode! Gross I know!
Years later, reading about British pop singer Adele saying she had to pump milk in the bathroom at the Grammys after giving birth to her son six years ago made me feel good that celebs are really just like us! ha!
Our Easter celebrity round up cannot be concluded without reporting on the sunrise Easter service Kanye West held during Coachella music festival.
According to TMZ‘s sources at the popular event, over 50,000 people attended to watch acts like Chance the Rapper, Donald Glover, Kid Cudi, DMX and our Bellyitch Bumpwatch alumTeyana Taylor perform alongside the controversial rapper, designer and now reality TV star.
When I was first into blogging and going to Blogging conferences, I attended a session at Blogging While Brown called the “What Yeezus Taught Us. As a fan of Mr. West, I found it intriguing to hear the two men on the panel talk about how they found the genius of Ye to be something they need to study and follow, almost religiously.
Some say Ye’s whole church service is sacrilegious. Similar was said of his popular song “Jesus Walks” and the contentious 2006 cover of Rolling Stone and the accompanying article called, “The Passion of Kanye West .” The man himself has said he has always wanted to start a church and is quoted often as considering himself religious.
In January, he famously tweeted: “We will change the world. God is on my side. I am a Christian. I am a tax payer. I am myself. God is with us,” he continued, adding, “2024.”
We will change the world. God is on my side. I am a Christian. I am a tax payer. I am myself. God is with us.
The arrogance one would need to compare himself or herself to a historic figure like Jesus Christ by dubbing oneself “Yeezus” is also the same type of Chutzpah or belief in one’s own hype to command $225 for a hoodie that says “Holy Spirit” and $50 for “Jesus Walks” socks at an event billed as a “service” and not a concert.
The services are not new and this mega one at Coachella is the latest in a series of religiously themed weekly concerts he has thrown at his home where where he remixes popular old songs into gospel versions and is backed by a choir that wears Yeezy sweats instead of traditional robes, The Cut reports.
Well they really are concerts cause I do not think there are any scripture readings or traditional sermons or homilies given. Fans loved it. It was a resounded success. Hate him or love him. Me personally, I’m tepid after his political stances and declaration that slavery was a choice, but I remain fascinated.
ICYMI: Kanye West, after a Saturday at #Coachella capped by an after-midnight cameo at Kid Cudi’s Sahara tent set, awakened early — or, just as likely, never went to bed — to celebrate #Easter with a Sunday service https://t.co/qK73tP44t3pic.twitter.com/urBm6p8ZlQ
Some have called it “cult like” but then again, as The Cut’s Mariah Smith put it so well:
Matthew 18:20 reads, ‘For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.’ Which basically means that if you and your friends even bring God up in your small gathering or find a way to praise His name with one another, you’ve essentially stumbled your way into a church service.
Duchess Catherine (nee Kate Middleton) headed out to celebrate her mother-in-law, the Queen of England‘s birthday, and Easter with her husband Prince William in an Alexander McQueen coat, a Jane Taylor church hat, Robinson Pelham earrings and Emmy London pumps.
Before other celeb Easter roundups come rolling in like here and here and here, let’s take a stroll down memory lane at some of our faves from the past.
Kelly Rowland, Tina Knowles Lawson and Beyonce Carter
Jessica Simpson, Eric Johnson and kids doing mommy/daddy & me in 2018.
Australian TV David Campbell’s Twins in 2015
Easter with Diddy and kids twins Jessie James and D’Lila and Chance Combs, and sons Justin Dior and Christian Casey and step son Quincy Brown in 2015
Tori Spelling getting a steal for $40 assembling all the kids’ baskets in 2014
Former President Barack Obama whistling in the start of the first Easter Egg roll at the White House in 2016.
Kourtney Kardashian with sister Kendall, and children Mason and Penelope Disick, dressed in white on Easter Sunday for church in 2013.
Easter at the Cannons, Nick, Morocco and Monroe and Mariah Carey in 2014
Chrissy Teigen, John Legend and daughter Luna in 2017.
If I were dressing for Easter and/or festival season like Coachella, I’d take style cues from a few of these South African stars I peeped on South African style mag All4Women’s roundup of the best Easter l inspiration looks last year.
For a festive and colorful day at Easter Service or Mass at church, I’d go with a structured maxi dress in a floral or African print like the one TV Host Khanyi Dhlomo wore last year sometime.
For Easter brunch, I’m digging the look another TV hostAyanda Thabethe rocked and would sport something similar to brunch.
Now if I had the legs to pull this off, I’d think about going big and bold in a funky number media personality Tumi Voster wore a few years back!
Have it your way, as they say…oh wait! Is that the Burger King tagline? (laugh)
