Tomorrow is the Day!!! ????? So I am going to share a story with you all…. I had a really really tough day yesterday because of having to make a super hard decision after my doctors appt. but after a lot of contemplation, crying, struggling, (and based on the medical pros and cons) the Doctor, Slade and I have decided a c-section is going to be the safest thing for me and baby tomorrow. ————————————————————————-Doctor said I am only dilated 1cm and I guess I have a “cervix of steel” ? so it’s not really cooperating at this point and just my pelvic exam yesterday was so beyond painful that I almost passed out, then started to hyperventilate because of that, which then lead to a panic attack! Needless to say I was a hot mess! ??—————————————Statistics show that if you aren’t dilated past 3cm then being induced is a lot harder on your body and one has a lower success of a vaginal birth, and a lot of times leads to a c-section anyways. So I either labor for potentially days and go through this balloon like procedure to try and open my cervix (which may or may not work) and possibly put myself and the baby in a lot of duress during that process (because I can’t have an epidural for that part yet) and then end up potentially in a c-section anyways, or I just do the scheduled c-section, which will be a lot less stress on myself and the baby. ——————————————————When you have this vision of how you want your labor and delivery to go and it doesn’t turn out they way you imagined, there is this sadness and internal struggle with “why isn’t my body cooperating” or am I making the right decision etc. So after crying it out, and being sad about not having a “vaginal birth” yesterday, I asked God to give me a sign that this is the best decision, and he did! ?? He literally had so many of my friends reach out to me yesterday and put me at ease about a potential c-section (and they didn’t even know what had happened at the appt.) ———————————————————— So I am scheduled for the c-section tomorrow and am going to embrace it with as much confidence as I can, and know that having her in my arms safely is all that matters! ????❤️ (Finish reading in comments below ?

Rossi famously shared that she lost over 14 embryos during the process to child to carry a baby to term.

“After the first round of IVF, when we lost 14 embryos, I looked at Slade and said, ‘I just need to take a pause,'” Rossi said during the episode of The Doctors. “This is beyond anything I had ever expected to experience. It literally took a good year and a half for us to even get to a point where I was willing to talk about it again.”

When she finally was successful, she had been very open and transparent with each step of the way in the media and social media with her followers and fans.

Earlier, she shared formal very glam maternity portraits that she exclusively shared with PEOPLE magazine.

Congrats!

Tomorrow I am #39 weeks! Yeah made it to full term (according to my app @whattoexpect) ✨ I am both anxious and excited about meeting her this week! (They are inducing me because I guess at my age (old AF ?) your placenta starts to die off after week 39 ? and could lead to potential problems, so I am trusting my Doctor with her advice, and I have done a ton of research on it, so I feel like it is the best decision for the safety of me and baby ?? ✨ The house is almost ready, still need to do some finishing touches to the nursery, like hang the wallpaper and changing out some drawer pulls etc. but I promise I will let you guys see it when it’s done ?? ✨ Thank goodness for Slade as he has been a huge help these past few weeks getting everything done around the house! (Including attaching everything to the walls after our scare of some earthquakes rolling through) I have been majorly nesting! Getting rid of tons of stuff, cleaning every nook and cranny like a crazy woman ? and putting each room back together with our new rugs on the floor (from my favorite place @orianrugs) so she can crawl around and not be just on our hardwood floors. It’s been a lot of work these past couple months getting the house ready, building cribs and bassinets, washing her clothes and building out her closet (with the help of @thecontainerstore) Getting all the diapers, bottles, and products I think we will need for her arrival! ✨ Washing our car right now as we speak, groomed the dogs, and washed all their beds and blankets throughout the house! Needless to say no wonder I had major cankles yesterday ?I have been doing a lot to get ready! ✨ I have a doctors appt. today to see if I am dilated at all ?? and fetal diagnostics again tomorrow (with blood work) to prep for the big arrival on Wednesday! Cannot believe the day is almost here when I get to meet our sweet baby girl I have prayed for my whole life! ??❤️ Not gunna lie I’m super nervous about delivery, but I know once she is in my arms it will all be worth it! Thank you all for your prayers this week! ?? ✨ Swipe left ?? Dress from @ladyjetset hat from the Bahamas, sunnies from @forever21 #GretchenChristine Purse
