Besides Khloe Kardashian, 10 Other Celebs Who Had Sponsored Baby Showers

Some people are baffled by the fact that a corporate entity or brand, Amazon.com, sponsored Khloe Kardashian‘s lavish baby shower for her soon-to-be daughter with beau Tristan Thompson.

It is not uncommon for moms and dads-to-be to receive multiple baby showers. Often times, a family member or close friend will host one for close ties, the workplace will throw a work shower and if there is family in a remote location, there will be a shower thrown there so those back home can also celebrate and shower the new parents.

For celebrities, often times brands and media organizations will also host a shower as the case with Khloe’s.  The following celebs had brands sponsor their showers

1.Danielle Jonas and her husband Kevin celebrated a baby shower thrown by Fit Pregnancy magazine.

2. Burt’s Bees was among the sponsors of Kourtney Kardashian’s baby showerwhen she was pregnant with daughter Penelope.

3. Le Bebe CoCo  was among Kristin Cavallari‘s baby shower sponsors

4. And  also Holly Madison‘s who donated her gifts to the charity Baby2Baby.

5. Target hosted Beverley Mitchell’s baby shower.

6. The Sopranos Jamie Lyn-Sigler donated some of her baby shower finds to the Baby Buggy charity.

7. Several liquor companies provided the libations for cocktails served up atLove and Hip Hop’s  Yandy Smith‘s baby shower.

8. Jaime King enjoyed some fab brand goodies at her shower.

9. Ecoya‘s Sweet Pea & Jasmine home fragrance collection, a pink Quinny Buzz Special Edition stroller, a mamaRoo baby swing, a pink Hoppop Bath tub, a pink Little Giraffe Luxe Blanket, a Timi and Leslie diaper bag and a 5 ft. custom-made giraffe by Melissa and Doug all contributed to Victoria Beckham‘s baby shower.

10. Belly Bandit sponsored Jewel’s baby shower.

There you have it! One of the perks of being a celebrity and being hugely influential!

Kate Middleton Bumps It Up with Meghan Markle at Commonwealth Service

Third-time mom-to-be Duchess Catherine of Cambridge and her husband Prince William were joined by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry and the other royals at the annual Commonwealth Service at Westminster Abbey this week.

The former Kate Middleton recycled a coat she has worn before, a navy wool Beulah Chiara London coat with a matching Jimmy Choo clutch and Malory’ pumps by Rupert Sanderson.

In her third trimester, Kate’s bump was visible through her coat as she and the royal pair greeted children at the event.

Interestingly enough, whoever styles Kate must also style Former actress Markle because she too was outfitted in an A-line coat with clean lines and in a primary color, well off white but you know, classic solids.

Both women wore wool hats that matched their coats. All of the other royals wore variations of navy and white so I think it was planned.

It is a classic and conservative aesthetic that is unique to Kate’s style.

If you look at how Kate dressed compared to as a married duchess, you can see the evolution and change.

I like their look but if it is too similar, it will give off a Stepford Wives vibe to me.

Inside Khloe Kardashian’s Amazon-Sponsored Baby Shower

Amazon.com sponsored a fabulous baby shower for Khloe Kardashian on Saturday.

It was also a birthday celebration for her beau Cleveland Cavaliers’ Tristan Thompson.

There were also cakes there to celebrate the birthdays of Khloe’s twin besties, Khadijah Haqq McCray and Malika McCray.

Khloe Kardahian gathered her famous family and friends on Saturday afternoon in honor of the upcoming arrival of her and Tristan Thompson‘s baby girl. A source tells E! News the lavish celebration, planned by Mindy Weiss, was held in the Grand Ballroom at the Hotel Bel Air in Los Angeles.

“The shower is very pink with thousands of pink flowers everywhere,” our insider describes, “including hundreds of stems hanging from the ceiling that create an amazing first impression as guests walk in.”

The mom-to-be, who wore a blush silk crepe robe and hand-beaded cocktail dress custom made by Sergio Hudson, also paid tribute to her beloved stuffed giraffe named Henry. The entrance features a “huge giraffe topiary.” Our source elaborates, “There are pink roses and hydrangeas everywhere, it’s like an amazing pink garden with floor to ceiling flowers.”

The 33-year-old let her millions of social media followers in on the fun-filled day, with one Instagram photo showcasing a neon pink sign that said “Baby Thompson” hung above hundreds of pink balloons. Kim revealed on Instagram Stories that the sign was made in Kris’ handwriting.

Kerry Washington Has Been Prepping Eva Longoria for Mommyhood

Eva Longoria says Kerry Washington has been the best in helping her prepare for the birth of her first child

The Desperate Housewives alum, who’s now in her third trimester, told Access Hollywood this tidbit earlier.

“Kerry has actually been one of my main friends that I’ve been leaning on during pregnancy,” Eva told us. “She helped me find a baby nurse and [figure out what] a doula is. She’s been an endless source of information.”

The Scandal star also hooked Eva up with a bunch of maternity clothes!

“She gave me this suitcase of maternity clothes,” Eva dished. “It’s like the traveling suitcase — it just gets passed on. Then I have to add to it and then I’ll pass it on. Kerry’s been amazing.”

Washington shared a photo at the Costume Designers Guild Awards of Longoria with herself, Longoria and actress Gina Rodriguez.

“Sisters from other misters. That baby’s gonna have a lotta aunties!

Khloe Kardashian Gender Reveals on the KUWTK Seaaon Finale

Khloe Kardashian officially announced the gender of her first child with beau Tristan Thompson during the latest episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

After the episode, the youngest followed up with an Instagram post.

”It’s a girl!!! SO blessed!! I can’t wait to welcome another beautiful baby girl into our family! Congrats my beauty @khloekardashian and @realtristan13 !! God is good!! ? ?

On the episode this past Sunday, Khloe was certain she was having a boy.

In a clip from that episode, Khloe is talking with sister Kim and says, “I am pretty much convinced I am having a boy.” Kim agrees with Khloe and the expectant mama goes on to admit, “I have such anxiety and nerves to find out what I am having.”

After baby sister Kylie Jenner, new mom to daughter Stormi Webster,  calls with the news that Khloe is also having a girl, Khloe says after hanging up that she hopes Kylie was lying.

She apparently really had her mind on boy.

The Revenge Body host later explained her reaction.

“God gives us what we need! His timing is never wrong! My hormones were IN RARE FORM for that news,” she tweeted. “I am now so excited my daughter will have forever best friends with Chicago and Stormi!! God is great!!! Thank you Lord for our princess.”

Hilaria Baldwin Celebrates Third Trimester With a Bikini Lingerie Selfie

To celebrate entering her third trimester Hilaria Baldwin took to her social media and gave her followers a bump update. And 4-year-old daughter Carmen helped mark the occasion adorning her mother with some stickers.

The creative kiddo is seen in the picture placing heart-shaped stickers in fun colors and patterns along Hilaria’s bump while the expectant mama is taking a mirror selfie wearing just a black bra and underwear.

“Hello, 3rd trimester! Carmen is decorating her baby brother.” Hilaria says. “Every single time I do this, I can’t believe the elasticity of the human body.” She goes on to admit, “It’s hard, and I get tired (especially with three on the outside), but I feel so lucky to have experienced this in my life. I always tell people that their bodies are capable of so much-and given the right care and fuel, you can really feel good and strong from the inside out.”

‘Bad Girl Club’s Tanisha Thomas Welcomes First Child

From Bad Girl to Mom.

Tanisha Thomas, former star of the Oxygen channel show The Bad Girls Club and host of subsequent permeations of the hit show about out of control young women living in a house, gave birth to her first child, son Prince Aiden.

Thomas took to Instagram to share the news.

“I am a woman of Many hats, however, this blessing right here is my greatest accomplishment,” she captioned a photo of herself cradling her baby in bed. “#PrinceAiden arrived at 11:58 PM On 3/7/18. Forever grateful to the amazing staff at NYU I really couldn’t do it without you. And Thank you for all of your beautiful words and love.”



Her beau Carey StHilaire also shared the news.

“Proudest moment of my life thus far Welcome to the world my Prince. Daddy and Mommy have so much in store for you. #PrinceAiden #blessings” he captioned his photo holding his son.

A day before, Thomas shared a dreamy maternity portrait expressing her anxiousness over the imminent arrival.

nother popular alum of the show Natalie Nunn and her husband welcomed their first child last year as well. It seems just like the Jersey Shore girls, all the bad girls settle down, marry and become moms and family women.

Like a lot of women who suffer a miscarriage loss, Thomas waited until half way through the pregnancy to announce the news.

“I’m sorry I didn’t mean to,” Thomas explained. “After going through such a painful miscarriage during last years holiday season that literally almost tore us apart, Bae and I didn’t want to take any chances this time around and waited as long as we could to share the good news.”

Tia Mowry’s Crowning Moment at Essence’s Black Women In Hollywood Awards

How adorable and regal was Tia Mowry who was honored  at the Essence “Black Women in Hollywood Awards”that took place at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel last Thursday.

Hosted by Insecure’s Yvonne Orji, the event brought together Hollywood heavyweights like Angela Bassett, Loretta Devine, Margaret Avery, and Ava DuVernay in the pre-Oscar celebration that highlights innovative and accomplished visionaries, as Deadline describes the event.

Mowry too is a vet to the industry though she is around the same age as newercomers Tiffany Haddish,  Danai Gurira, Lupita Nyong’o, Orji, Lena Waithe and other younger honorees.

A memorable capstone of this event was a photo shoot and video crowning of all the honorees.

Mowry’s husband, Cory Hardrict, is seen in their video gently placing a crown on the second-time mom-to-be’s head in an endearing Instagram share.

So sweet! The couple share a 6-year old s¡on Cree who is anxiously awaiting the arrival of a baby sister.

The Tia Mowry’s Quick Fix host announced the gender of her baby in a cute video on the YouTube channel.

Meanwhile… back at the ranch, the cookbook author and actress has been quietly giving us life via her Instagram account with her cute self.

Did Chrissy Teigen Really Ditch the Oscars for Taco Night At Home?

Did model, Lip Sync Battle host, and Twitter queen Chrissy Teigen announce that she is canceling attending the Oscars to eat tacos instead? Yup!

Shortly before the 90th annual event occurred at the Dolby Theatre on March 4, 2018 in Hollywood, California, Teigen tweeted, “I have cancelled Oscars Sunday and am trying to track down the taco truck featured in Ugly Delicious,” adding,  “does anyone around 6 months pregnant need a dress.”

Whether she was planning to attend or not is up in the air. She has been before. She was pregnant with daughter Luna in 2016 when she accompanied her husband John Legend who a year earlier won an Academy Award himself for Best Original Song for “Glory” in the film Selma.

He performed at the Governor’s Ball after the show but sans his wife.

But for second trimester preggers people, tacos are more important!

My 9 Fave Style Pantry Looks And Why I Love Each

I love Blogger Folake Kuye Huntoon of Style Pantry‘s fashion aesthetic. She plays with color and sticks to clean lines while still being daring and bold with her selection of pieces.

She keeps it simple. Her daily looks are usually defined by just three pieces. Each are obviously carefully selected for maximum impact and they work so well! It’s so effortlessly chic! Love it!

She is also, in my opinion, the most replicated blogger out here because on any given day, as I peruse my fave sites, social media pages or other places on line, people are ripping her style and recreating her looks. Some enterprising online retailers even rip her images to sell recreations of her looks. She has over 700,000 Facebook followers an dover 28,000 followers on Instagram because she brings fresh looks every day. That is amazing.

I guess I am joining in on the fun. I pulled 9 of my fave looks and curated pieces so you can recreate the look yourself for under $100! Look:

I love everything about this look down to the satin pink pumps. The nautical or military style blazer is a great frame. The grew cowneck shirt underneath adds depth and the distressed denim with the cutout says “I don’t take myself too seriously!” Love!

Yellow pants is hard for anyone to pull off but she smartly paired them with a conservative navy blue fitted sweater over top a crisp white shirt. It’s the perfect juxtaposing. Swoon!

I am a fan of tunic tops because I think they flatter any shape. The orange belted shirt could be a dress for someone short. The military camouflage printed pants are the perfect balance to the brightness of that top. She then “upscales” (is that a word?) the entire look with navy patent leather pumps. I also love the bangle accessories and rose gold watch.

 

 

This wrap dress is everything. The geometric lines weaving through it gives it flow and personality on its own. It needs little accessorizing outside the chunky gold statement necklace and simple black strappy sandals. 

I spend most of my life in casual clothing. I love oversized comfortable sweaters and that is why I admired this aquamarine loose-fitting cable sweater that she wore with some dark denim cuffed skinny jeans with orange heels. Smart!



This skirt is hard to find but the rainbow colors make me smile. This skirt has a personality on its own and that’s why it was right to pair it with a simple boyfriend collar shirt and of course, yellow pumps to make it pop even more!



What a no-nonsense look! I’ve been on the hunt for a yellow blazer as it is the most appropriate color for Spring which is on the horizon. I really dig the brown pants and brown leather peep toe booties with the chains. It’s a bad ass outfit for sure!



The African girl married to an Island man in me cannot get enough of this look. She has a bright painting on her dress that I would want to hang in my living room. I have to go back to her blog to see who makes these awe-inspiring sandals because they are fire. That’s all I have to say.



Big red Palazzo pants are tough for anyone to pull off especially short girls like I am, but I love them on her. The off the shoulder peasant top is sizzling on its own too. Then when the two items connect, electrifying!!. And the oversized hoops are the ideal icing on the cake! Oh and the crimson lip. Can’t forget that!
