Last year, 2019 was no different in witnessing expecting women grace the red carpet at the annual Academy Awards red carpet.
Kyrsten Ritter, the Jessica Jonesstar debuted her baby bump at the 2019 Oscars cradling her stomach on the red carpet while wearing a lacy maroon gown next to boyfriend Adam Granduciel.
In 2016, A glowing Emily Blunt went pink and jewels in 2016 while waiting for the birth of her second child with husband, John Krazinski. In 2017, Ciara looked regal in crimson velour with a jeweled choker at the annual Vanity Fair Oscar Party in 2017 while carrying her and husband Russell Wilson‘s first child together.
In 2016, model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley looked glam at the 2017 Vanity Fair Oscar Party afterparty with her husband, Jason Statham, wearing a one shoulder Versace gown with Nirav Modi earrings.
Also that year, Lipsync Battle host Chrissy Teigen radiated in a Marchesa gown while expecting her second child with husband John Legend.
In 2012,Adele welcomed her first child, son Angelo, and the next year, she won an Oscar for Best Song for the and explained having to express breast milk in the bathroom to relieve her engorged breast.
The “Rolling in the Deep” singer missed out on having to be heavily pregnant on the red carpet like several of her fellow A-listers in year’s past.
Oscar has played host to several heavily pregnant
In 1992, Susan Sarandon was almost due with her son Miles whom she welcomed (with then-beau Tim Robbins) when she was nominated for her role in Thelma & Louise at age 47. (She didn’t win but was nominated 5 times and won Best Actress in 1996 for her role in Dead Man Walking.)

For most people, the glamorous life is a fantasy and something some aspire to attain. It’s why we love celebrities and high profile people.
It’s why shows like Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous and more recently, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and half of the Bravo TV line up do so well.
If we were to be totally engaged with that lifestyle, here is one of the ways we would make our 2020 amazing.
Get Extravagant PUSH presents like Sports Cars
One of the best ways that you can make your 2020 more glamorous if you are a celebrity is to invest your money in a new sports car. Travis Scott famously gifted his ex Kylie Jenner a $1.4M Ferrari after she welcomed the couple’s first child together, Stormi Webster.
Take Luxury Babymoons
Us peons may take a Babymoon to Miami to get away before baby arrives.
Celebrities have access to more luxurious locales. Ciara who is expecting her third child, but second with her husband Russell Wilson announced the news while chilling on a rock in Turks and Caicos.
When we get pregnant and can find something chic to wear, we hold on to our non maternity clothes for as long as we can before having to break out the overalls and succumb to the belly. Celebrity women just call up a few sponsors and brands and start an entire fashion line. Several famous women like Heidi Klum, Victoria Beckham and Jessica launched maternity fashion lines while expecting.
If we wanted to emulate that sort of extravagance we would have to do stuff like hit the vintage shops or sell our old clothes on sites like Depop
Buy New Homes for Baby
When baby makes three, the average new family convert the old study into a nursery or clean out the spare room. Stars purchase a larger home to accommodate the nanny and extra staff that will be on board to help them navigate parenthood.
To prepare for the arrival of their first child together, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis upgraded their home and purchased a $10M 3 bedroom, 4 bath Beverly Hills home to accommodate their growing family, according to US Weekly. They aren’t the only ones.
Purchase the Most Expensive Crib
Finally, while the rest of us are scouring sale ads and stalking Groupon for deals on strollers and car seats, celebs like Beyonce splurge on high price top of the line products like purchasing a $3,500 lucite crib for her first child Blue Ivy.
And not just cribs, these high paid figures can afford to get the most expensive car seat, designer new born clothing and more. It’s part of the perk of being wealthy.
In the meantime, we gawk and point and admire from our computer screens.
Believe it or not the very fashionable and gorgeous Ciara has never graced the cover of Vogue before landing her first in Vogue Arabia.
The “Level Up” singer goes into her new upcoming album and talks motherhood and its inspiration for her productivity in the inside story.
“I’m super excited and my vision for this project is to inject love into the world with dance,” she shared about the project that was mainly completed while she was 8-months pregnant with her second child, daughter Sienna with husband NFL quarterback Russell Wilsonof the Seattle Seahawks.
“There was something really special about that,” the fashion muse explains in the issue. “Being a mother of two made me feel even more confident, inspired, and fearless,” she shares, when asked if motherhood reshaped her as an artist.”
Ciara is also mom to 4-year old Future Zuhir with ex fiance R&B recording artist Future.
Seattle Seahawk‘s Russell Wilson attended this year’s Kids’ Choice Sports Awards and carried to the event his wife, R&B pop star Ciara and their kids 14-month old Sienna Princess and Future Zahir, Ciara’s son from a previous relationship with hip hop artist Future.
The whole family were in shades with the “Level Up” singer in a while sleeveless top, mini skirt with high top wedge sneakers at the event that took place at Barker Hangar on July 19, 2018 in Santa Monica, California.
Future sported a red flannel shirt and matching sneakers, gray shorts and a white T-shirt with a cityscape design, with a fly pair of shades, capturing the spotlight and red carpet in solo pics and with his fam.
Baby sister made her debut on the orange carpet in a cute white tutu and screen onesie with silver high tops like mom.
Ciara and Wilson’s 14-month-old daughter Sienna Princess made her debut on the orange carpet, rocking an angelic ensemble that included a white shirt with a black star print, white tutu and silver sneakers.
Michael Phelps was accompanied by his wife, Nicole Johnson and their son Boomer Robert Phelps on the orange carpet but baby Beckett Richard Phelps joined them in the audience later, wearing the latest in baby loud ear protection.
Chef, Cookbook author and singer Kelis and her ex-fiance rapper Nas have reached a custody and visitation arrangement over their 8 year old son, Knight.
According toTMZ, a judge stepped in to preside over Nas’ complaint that the “Milkshake” singer made it difficult for him to see his child. Kelis has since welcomed a second son, Shepherd, with a partner she has never disclosed publicly.
According to court docs, the exes hammered out specific dates where Nas will have custody of Knight for weekends. Dad gets four full weekends over January, February and March. Nas’ weekend visits will begin immediately after school on Fridays … thru Sunday night, or Monday night, if it’s a 3-day weekend.
Another interesting part of the judge’s order: Try to limit exposing their son and ”popularizing” him in social media!
We get it tho. There have been quite a few social media custody battles play themselves out in social media, most notably Ciara and Future over their son Future Zahir and Eva Marcille and Kevin McCall over their daughter, Marley Rae.
Ciara’s husband NFL quarterback Russell Wilson faced backlash last year for wishing his wife a Happy Mother’s Day on behalf of him and “our kids”. Future fans saw it as a slap in the face to his step son’s dad.
McCall reportedly disowned Marley when Marcille posted an Instagram photo of Marley with her fiancé attorney Michael Sterling.
Nas rarely, if ever, posts photos of his son in social media and Kelis does so sparingly and never shows either of her children’s faces when she does. In fact, it looks like around the same time of the judge’s orders, she posted the above photo of herself with Knight on Instagram recently, with his cap over his face.
“Just exploring the world with my little ones by my side,” she captioned the colorful photo on a yacht or boat.
The timing to the proximity of the order is uncanny.
Speaking of which, Kelis has a mad dope Instagram feed! You should follow her if you are a fan of travel, color, music and culture!
