As is the case in many Halloween seasons past, famous people loved to dress as other celebrities and this year was no different. The TODAYshow and Good Morning America morning shows and Live with Kelly and Ryanhad themes and dressed as multiple people. TODAY’s on air personalities did dance numbers and Good Morning America’s theme was. Kelly and Ryan did pop culture viral moments like Baby Shark and Old Town Road.
Here is a run down (updating as I bump into more)

Before other celeb Easter roundups come rolling in like here and here and here, let’s take a stroll down memory lane at some of our faves from the past.
People who give their babies names that are later picked by celebs are smacking their foreheads!
A recent study of 2,000 parents found one in five began to dislike their choice after the name rose in popularity, while almost one in ten were annoyed after a celebrity chose the same name for their toddler.
SJ Strum, baby names expert from ChannelMum.com, who carried out the study, said: “Picking your baby name is one of the most important parts of becoming a parent – and it’s also something which everyone from friends and family to total strangers has an opinion on.
“Celebrity trends mean there are an ever-growing list of baby names to choose from, but this also means more opportunities to choose a name which you, or your child, then learn to loathe.”
According to the British website, here are some of the names celebrities have given their children which regular parents now despise:
It has been 10 years since I last posted the annual Bellyitch Most Expensive Strollers post. It was a yearly blog post staple and used to get tons of traffic because, honestly, I think people, generally, are obsessed with knowing what baby items are used and coveted by the super wealthy and celebrities.
Since the last post, a few stroller companies have gone out of business. RIP to Orbit, Maclaren and newer brands 4Moms and iCandy, which were once considered “it” strollers in their day but no longer manufacture luxury strollers.
In 2013, I published the list as part of the Bellyitch 100, a book of the top crib makers, maternity wear designers, stroller makers and baby clothes brands.
Anyway, so I used to publish the Most Expensive Strollers list at a time when I was raising a young family and brands would boast that they were on the list.
My social circle at the time included professional working women, stay-at-home moms, and mom bloggers, several who were affluent and looked at the stroller as a status symbol.
Here is another secret about what happens among moms at the park, at the school pick up lot, in the mall and other social places where mommies congregate. They check out what strollers they’re pushing a baby or child in and make judgments.
Yes, there is a definite hierarchy in quality of strollers and believe me when I tell you that certainly check out what stroller another mom’s child is being pushed in and make judgments.
When I was raising my children as a young lawyer, I went through 6 strollers, which is a low number considering many of my friends at the tiem had way more.
Our first stroller was a Peg Perego which converts from a baby carriage or pram to a push stroller. At the time, it was among the best. Then, when my first born turned into a toddler, we ordered theInglesina Swiftumbrella stroller from the Italian stroller manufacturer. It had a great run!
To pair with the Inglesina, a sturdy Italian brand, we got a lower cost Combi umbrella stroller for travel, a stroller we could beat up which was so much less that so that we wouldn’t mind if it got lost by the airline or damaged during travel.
Then, when I was expecting baby #2, I got as an amazing shower gift from my co-workers at my old job: a Peg Prerego Aria doublestroller!
By the time baby number 3 rolled around, the Inglesina had hit the dirt, we left the Combi on some island we visited for vacation once and we had loaned out the Peg Perego Buggy to relatives who didn’t take good care of it.
The wheels on the double gave out and we opted to give to Goodwill rather than try to fix it or get the company to repair it.
B.O.B.
We opted for a lesss expensive Graco Snug Ride for Baby #3 and aB.OB. jogging stroller (the air-filled jogger stroller with hand activated rear wheel brakes that can ride smooth on any terrain) when I was ready to get back in shape.
Now, while we didn’t get any of them to make a statement, I have had many moms and dads comment on the pricier high end ones while walking in the parks, malls etc. People are always looking for a status symbol and there is a preconception that most expensive means the best!
It’s no wonder, you can see celebrities strolling their children in many of those on this list. The celebrities know that too. That is why Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony sued Silver Cross from publishing on their website an unauthorized endorsement which featured a People magazine photo of them pushing their twins in two Silver Cross prams.
People flock to buy whatever celebrities purchase and that stroller companies know that endorsement mean lots for their bottom line.
Anyhoo, on to the list. Of course, as a disclaimer, this list is not exhaustive. As usual, this list is based on my own personal research and I urge readers to point out other vehicles that should grace this list. Certainly, I would amend the post to reflect corrections.
In the meantime, check out this year’s list of “it” strollers pushed by the most Poshest of moms and celebs out there (I’m updating this list with a few more after the initial post so come back and ping me on Twitter if you don’t see one you think should be on this list)

There you have it! Good luck stroller shop or social climbing, whatever floats your boat!
Celebrities get “Mommy Shamed” for every. little. thing. they. do! It comes with the territory of having millions of followers, being socially influential and having humans with all sorts of opinions following your every move!
Recently, brand new first-time moms to baby girls,Gabrielle Union and Kenya Moore Dalywere warned about kissing their own newborns! Yup!
(There and Pro and Cons schools of thought on this issue)
Union shared a video which got all the heat but she chose to reply to them, writing, in a subsequent post including a video of her daughter Kaavia James being examined by the doctor who gave a clean bill of health:
Cant stop, won’t stop. ???@kaaviajames ?❤???? Here’s a guide for happily enjoying my posts of our family. Trust that she is surrounded by medical and child care specialists. Know she is safe and watched closely at all times. Trust that I won’t post anything that puts my child in danger or opens me up to unsolicited online medical or parenting opinions ? @kaaviajames is loved. She will be kissed. She will be loved on by the people that love her. She will be safe. If and when I have questions (as a new mom I have tons) I will not hesitate to ask my online community for help and suggestions. But yall have never known me to hold my tongue so trust that I will ask for help. Sometimes publicly and sometimes privately. Its OK that every parent does things differently to suit their child’s needs. Every solution that works or worked for you may or may not work for me or my family or other folks. And that’s absolutely OK. If someone does things differently or does not take your advise or that advise doesnt pan out the way it did for you, that is NO indication that you are wrong or a bad parent. We all figure out what works for us, our children and our families. We dont all have to match. It’s ok to break from the norm and do what’s healthiest and safest for your child. No one is in your house or your family but YOU. We dont all need to be clones of each other to be doing OK. The goal is for us all to have happy healthy families and that journey looks different for every family. Let’s embrace that. Let’s get comfortable with that. Someone doing something different than us does not make us bad people or bad parents. Breathe and enjoy. There will be no mommy shaming on this page. I rebuke mommy shaming. For those STILLLLL clinging onto your fears about Kaav’s breathing and or whether my sweet kisses harmed my kid…feel free to swipe.
Moore just ignore them and let her fans clap back over criticism of her kissing her infant, Brooklyn Doris.

Every year, celebrities go above and beyond to give superb portrayals for Halloween. This year did not disappoint. Here is a quick rundown of my faves including some from our Bellyitch Bumpwatch alums like Ciara, Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Jaime King and more.
Kylie Jenner recreated the Barbie in a box. It was one of several costumes she wore this season. She went as a Butterfly in a mommy and me photo with her daughter and as a Victoria Secret Angel group costume with her sisters. (see below)
The winner might be Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner killed as Gomez and Morticia Addams complete with Thing on his shoulder! Best hands down in my opinion this year!
oh I think Heidi Klum as Princess Fiona and Tom Kaulitz as Shrek as is up there too!
Alicia Keys went over the top but in a good way as a Ninja. I mean, she had her entire costume as part of a movie poster and all with the credits including her children and husband.
Beyonce paid homage and tribute to Lil Kim last year and this year, she went with another icon: Toni Braxton. She dressed as the pop crooner’s cover album for “Another Sad Love Song.”
Actress, former model Jaime King dolled it up as Joan of Arc at Just Jared’s Halloween party presented by Carls Jr.
Ciara‘s costume portrayal of Black Panther heroine Nakia from Black Panther is 10X Levels Up! She did Wakanda right!
Crazy Rich Asians actor Harry Shum Jr. was boss as Eric Draven from the 1994 film The Crow,!
I wanted to go as Ariana Grande this year but I don’t think anyone did her better than Kourtney Kardashian did!
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend killed as Queen Elizabeth the II and Prince Phillip.
Winnie Harlowe as RuPaul
Bella Hadid and the Weeknd dress as Beetlejuice and Lydia when going to Heidi Klum’s Halloween party on October 31, 2018 in New York City. (Photo by Jackson Lee/GC Images)
Padma Lakshmi at Heidi Klum’s 19th Annual Halloween Party as The Black Swan
Kat Graham at Heidi Klum’s 19th Annual Halloween Party presented by Party City and SVEDKA Vodka (Photo by Noam Galai/Getty Images for Heidi Klum)
Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson as Danny DeVito and Arnold Schwazzeneger in “Twins”
Kelly Clarkson as a penguin and Jennifer Hudson as Catwoman
The Kardashian/Jenner girls were blessed to have Victoria’s Secret loan them actual angel wings so they can dress as true Angels for Halloween.
My fave is Kourt’s because she is tiny and the oldest
Bethenny Frankel could have joined the sisters because she too dressed as a Vicky Sec angel this year.
The Ladies of The Real TV talk show dressed up as iconic TV talk show hosts. Tamera Mowry-Housley was Tyra Banks. Jeannie Mae went as Ellen Degeneres. Loni Love dressed as Oprah Winfrey and Adrienne Houghton as Sally Jessy Raphael.
The TODAYshow traditionally go all out for Halloween. This year, I was thoroughly impressed by Al Roker and Dylan Dreyer dressed as Marty McFly and Doc Brown From Back to the Future.
Kelly Ripa is usually a show stopper wearing a variety of looks and costumes each Halloween with her hosts throughout the years, Regis, Michael Strahan and now with Ryan Secrest. They did a bunch of 80s TV show characters this year. She did it up as as Vicki the Robot From Small Wonder.
The two of them portrayed Jeannie and Major Nelson From I Dream of Jeannie.
And one of my fave shows: Laverne and Shirley‘s Laverne DeFazio and Shirley Feeney.
Seacrest came out in a small model car like the one Ricky Stratton From Silver Spoons owned and drove in the opening sequence to that show.
Kelly Ripa, Ryan Seacrest, and Art More as a modern twist on the FriendsCast.
I loved Disney Channel stars Jenna Ortega and Asher Angel as Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson. I asked my husband to go as this duo to a Halloween party we were going to and he said no. Boo!
Monica is another celebrity that puts a lot of work into her Halloween costume every single year. She dressed as Johnny Depp‘s portrayal of the Mad Hatter.
Sarah Michelle Gellar looked hot as as Harley Quinn.
Adrienne Bosh could barely be made out in her Halloween Insta share as a Ghoulish Ghost.
One of my faves because of how close to the original it was is Madison Pettis from Nickelodeon‘s Cory in the House as Coachella Beyonce
Also loved Gwen Stefani as Sally From Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Speaking of which! Gabriel Union did a great job dressing as Stefani in No Doubt’s “Just a Girl” video before heading out to her birthday party.
If you’re a watcher of fashion trends, you may have noticed that high cut bikinis and bathing suits are all over. Several of our Bellyitch Bumpwatch alums like Kourtney Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and others have sported this style of swimwear that is quite risque given how high up on the hip the suit goes. The Jenner sisters sell them as part of their fashion line.
If you’re brave enough to don one this summer, there are plenty of options and styles. Various brands, stores and design houses have made these suits available in a variety of colors, textures and materials.
The Council of Fashion Designers of America—in partnership with Swarovski for the 17th year—(CFDA) held its annual awards last night at the Brooklyn Museum which was hosted for the first time in 10-years by a woman, Insecure star, producer and writer Issa Rae.
During the red carpet of the event, we noticed several of the celeb moms (and one mom-to-be) we have featured on the blog looking tres fashionable.
In collage above: Top: Irina Shayk, Jourdann Dunn, Lily Aldridge, Busy Phillips, 2nd-time mom-to-be Clair Danes; Bottom: Rachel Zoe, Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian-West, Alessandra Ambrosio and Ciara looked ravishing!
