Holidays: 10 Mocktail Recipes for Moms-to-Be

Moms-to-be, don’t fret about getting left out of the Holiday and New Year’s Eve spirits-sipping this season, we’ve assembled some deeeeelish mocktail recipes for you to try out!

CHERRY SPLASH
Ingredients
2 cups of water
1 cup of grenadine
ice cubes
lemon lime soda
cherries

Directions
 Bring 2 cups of water to a boil
remove from the heat and add 1 cup of grenadine, stirring to combine. 
Cool slightly and then pour into ice cube trays. Freeze for at least 2 hours.  
To make the drink, fill a tall glass with the ice cubes and top with a lemon lime soda.  Garnish with several bottled cherries on a toothpick laid across the top of the drink.







GINGER TWIST

Ingredients

6 oz Ginger Ale
Lemon twist garnish
Ice

Directions:
Mix ingredients in a shaker with ice and enjoy!
 

CRANBERRY MOJITO

Ingredients:
¼ organic lime
10 mint leaves
10 cranberries whole
1 tablespoon Hey Shuga cane syrup or 2 teaspoons organic cane sugar and 1 teaspoon water (boiled together)
 ice cubes to fill the glass
sparkling mineral water
Directions:
Muddle the cranberries, mint and lime in a cup or cocktail shaker.
Pour over ice in the glass.
Fill glass with sparkling mineral water
PEPPERMINT SHIRLEY TEMPLE
Ingredients:
6 oz Lemon Lime Sparkling ICE
Grenadine Syrup
Candy Cane for Garnish


Directions: 
Mix ingredients in a shaker with ice and enjoy!

  CARRINGTON CHIA-TINI

Ingredients
10oz water
1  tsp. fresh lime juice
3oz  pomegranate juice
Directions:
1.  Combine 2 tablespoons of dry chia seeds with 10 ounces of water in a small glass or bowl.
2.  Stir the mixture gently with a spoon to keep the seeds from clumping together.
3.  Allow the mixture to stand for about 10 minutes until they form a gel.
4.  Add 1 teaspoon of fresh lime juice and 3 ounces of fresh pomegranate juice, swirl until combined.
5.  Drink and be merry!


NON-ALCOHOLIC SANGRIA

Ingredients:
2 cups boiling water
2 black tea bags (or 2 teaspoons loose-leaf tea in an infuser)
2 cinnamon sticks
1/2 cup sugar
3 cups pomegranate juice
1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
1 orange, sliced into thin rounds
1 lemon, sliced into thin rounds
1 lime, sliced into thin rounds
1 apple, cored and cut into 1/2-inch chunks
3 cups carbonated water


Directions:
Pour boiling water over tea bags and cinnamon sticks and steep for 5 minutes. Discard tea bags and stir in sugar to dissolve.

In a large jar or pitcher, combine tea, cinnamon sticks, pomegranate juice, orange juice, orange, lemon, lime, and apple. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour and preferably overnight.

Just before serving, stir in carbonated water. Serve in glasses over ice.

COLADA CHRISTMAS

Ingredients:
Serves 4
— 8 oz. Daily’s Cocktail Mixers Pina Colada mix
— 8 oz. pineapple juice
— 4 oz. orange juice
— juice of one lime


Directions:
Put all ingredients in a blender filled with 2 cups of ice. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses, garnish with strawberry and orange slice if desired, and serve.
