A British woman laid upside down for 10 weeks to avoid miscarrying her daughter, the Daily Mail reported. After suffering numerous miscarriages, new mom Donna Kelly followed doctor’s recommendations and remained inclined in a bed with her feet above her head. Ultrasound scans showed that the baby had decended so low into her cervix that she risked delivering her too soon. The radical steps worked and she delivered her healthy baby girl, Amelia, at University Hospital in Coventry.
She lost two babies at 23 and 19 weeks gestation previously and did what she had to do to deliver her girl. Good for mom!
