It is breaking all of our hearts tonight upon release of the news from the Associated Press that pop phenom from the 80s and 90s Whitney Houston has passed away. Her publicist, Kirsten Foster, released the news that she died though the reason for her passing is unknown and not yet reported. After a tumultuous relationship with singer Bobby Brown and having an up an down struggle with drugs, she had been on an erratic path. So sad.
Below is a Bellyitch favorite video of Ms. Houston because it is one of few videos of a singer while the singer is pregnant. She was carrying daughter Bobbi Kristina at the time “I’m Every Woman” was made and it is off the soundtrack of The Bodyguard which won Album of the Year in 1994. Rest in Peace, Queen! She was a true diva extraordinaire and her voice was out of this world.
