Ivanka Trump welcomed her second child, a son, on Monday, October 14 in New York City.
The reality TV star and business mogul and husband, New York Observer publisher Jared Kushner, named their son Joseph Frederick Kushner. The name comes from Mom and Dad’s paternal grandfathers, Ivanka wrote on her Tumblr blog.
“Both men set the standards that have been passed down through the generations and which we hope to impart upon Joseph and Arabella,” scribed Trump, whose dad is real estate mogul and The Apprentice creator Donald Trump. “They created a legacy for our family that inspires our careers as well as our love and respect for one another. We are honored to name our son after these two distinguished men.”
The couple is already parents to 2-year old daughter Arabella and announced the news of their second pregnancy this past April.
Ivanka shared a photo of Arabella and her new baby brother on her Instagram page with the caption, “Arabella is such a proud big sister.”
