Today, Nelson Mandela, a beloved magnanimous figure in history passed away at the golden age of 95. Before serving as the president of South Africa for one term from 1994-96, he served close to 27 years in a prison on Robben Island off the coast of South Africa for his role in trying to liberate his people from apartheid, an extreme system of segregation.

Also, earlier this week, many others were saluting the Late Paul Walker of the Fast and Furious franchise who perished in a fiery one-car accident with this friend on Saturday.
