If you are a celebrity and you have a baby that makes you an expert on motherhood, and then naturally, you write a book to advise other moms-to-be or future mothers.
That’s precisely what Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi of the MTV Jersey Shore and Snooki and JWoww fame did after giving birth to her son Lorenzo last August 2012.
She actually tweeted this February to a fan that she was writing a pregnancy advice book.
And here it is: Baby Bumps: From Party Girl to Proud Mama, and all the Messy Milestones Along the Way, available on January 14 in bookstores but now on Amazon.com.
In it, she dishes about her own personal journey to motherhood and criticizes the public, the media and paparazzi for being hard on celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Kate Middleton while they are pregnant. She (along with her ghost writer ) go after the excessive scrutiny over their weight gain then the enormous pressure on them to get back to pre-pregnancy size after giving birth.
In other words, everything we’ve written here, over the years about the bumpwatch phenomenon, the papps and the public.
But we suppose it could be an interesting read on her own personal experience even though we already know that she hated pregnancy as she was very vocal about it in the press, telling TMZ she thought it was “disgusting.”
So we are kind of curious if there is a positive spin in between the pages of “advice” she has to offer.
Anywho! Have a read and tell us about it!
