City Girls’ Yung Miami Is Expecting

Congratulations are in order!

When Drake surprised a small female rap duo from Miami, Fl by including a sample of one of their songs on the tail end of his Summer banger, “In My Feelings” without them knowing in advance, he helped shoot the group into the stratosphere and stardom!

Since, the young women, Yung Miami and JT, best friends since Middle school, have launched two Billboard hits, “Twerk” and “Act Up” from their Girl Code album and are bonafide international stars.

Unfortunately, half of the duo is experiencing the fame in prison for fraud and was serving her sentence when their instant meteoric rise started. She is soon to be released.

The other half just announced a pregnancy with her second child. The child’s father is reportedly a producer named Southside who is part of the production team 808 Mafia.

On Tuesday (June 11), Yung Miami confirmed that she is pregnant with her second child. Amid the rap duo’s rapidly growing acclaim for meteoric hits like “Twerk” and “Act Up,” the news comes as a pleasant surprise to fans.

Yung Miami, born Caresha Brownlee, has been holding down the Miami-established rap duo and repping from the outside while her City Girls halver Jatavia “JT” Johnson serves out a jail sentence.

In an Instagram post previewing the upcoming City Girls documentary, their rise from the streets of Miami to the world stage is painted for the entire rap world to see.

“I’ve been going back and forth to share this moment with my fans,” she wrote in the caption of the IGTV clip. “But on MY TERMS! I wanted to share this with y’all. No one knows what is best for me but GOD, and this was just his timing for me.”

The clip opens with JT and Yung Miami in Los Angeles celebrating  after just signing their contract with music label Quality Control.

Tiger Woods’ Ex Elin Nordegren is Pregnant

Tiger Woods‘ ex wife Elin Nordegren was looking very pregnant last Friday while cheering on the couple’s 10-year old son Charlie at his flag football game in Florida.

The 39-year old, who also shares an 11-year old daughter Sam with the Golf star, apparently showed up unexpectedly at the game while Woods was out of town during a Golf tournament, RadarOnline exclusively reported.

The blonde ex nanny has kept a low profile after divorcing from Woods in 2010 following a cheating scandal.

The two married in 2004 before police were called to the couple’s home in 2009 after Nordgen discovered the infidelity, and Woods smashed his car into a tree not far from their property following a spat about it.

According to sources to the gossip site, Woods and his current girlfriend Erica Herman have been the ones attending his children’s soccer and flag football games in recent months.

The source also added that when the athlete is out of town for golf, Sam and Charlie have been with their nanny.  

Nordegren briefly dated billionaire Chris Cline after her divorce from Woods but split in 2014, before reuniting during a ski trip a couple years later in 2016.

She wore no wedding ring, according to pics you can see HERE!

The New Season of ‘Revenge Body’ Starts Soon

I was catching up on the latest episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians on E! and noticing how baby sister of the trio of Dash sisters, Khloe Kardashian looks super thin and a lot like her Instagram photos that people keep accusing her of achieving by photoshopping.

I thought, yeah, it’s pretty hard to photo shop video! She really worked hard to shed pounds after giving birth to her daughter True last year. And after what happened with her ex Tristan Thompson‘s serial cheating, she is really living the Revenge Body mantra.

Then I remembered that a new season of her Revenge Body challenge show on the E! network starts soon.

A teaser released by the network summarizes all of the exciting activities we can expect for the next iteration of the popular spin off.

Per the new footage, Khloe Kardashian‘s transformation series will “redefine” revenge. Not only will contestants shed pounds with the help of Revenge Body‘s trusted trainers, but the participants will also bulk up on muscle as seen on a contestant who has been genetically thin his entire life.

“I only know how to do skinny,” one male participant admitted in a confessional. In the promo reel, fitness and lifestyle consultant Ashley Borden assured the client that he could put on about 30 pounds.

Of course, this won’t occur without some “blood, sweat and cheers.“

“It’s not just about today. It’s about the rest of your life,” Luke Milt, former a professional rugby player and show motivator says.

All of this wouldn’t be possible without the wise guidance of Revenge Body‘s host. True story.

“You look amazing,” a contestant noted to Kardashian.

“Honey, I’m trying to keep up with you,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star happily responded.

Bravo TV‘s Real Housewives of Potomac housewife Ashley Darby celebrated her 31st birthday and the impending arrival of her first child at a traditional ladies only “Shower” theme baby shower, this past Saturday, June 8th..

The festive event was held at La Vie restaurant in the recently renovated Wharf DC. Guests who entered a floral archway included castmates Gizelle Bryant, Charrisse Jackson-Jordan, Monique Samuels, Karen Huger and Robyn Dixon to her grandmom Joyce Bryant and mom Sheila Mattthews and friends.

“I am still coming down from the joy and excitement of Baby D’s shower of love this weekend,” Darby captioned an Instagram post of a video of the event. “Michael and I are blessed to be surrounded by you caring, loving, supportive people. Life is much more fulfilling with you in it.”

Vendors included Village and Coast Interior Design which brought the theme to life by draping 55 light blue, lime, white, lavender and periwinkle parasols in the center of the room, per a PEOPLE mag exclusive.

Baker’s Cake Theory provided treats and a giant cupcake as a birthday surprise. Guests dined on a brunch menu that included mimosas and La Vie’s signature Bellini.

Local DC DJ Live Drex spun tunes, while aerialist Shelly Flex (of Dollz Entertainment) performed a 5-minute number to Disclosure’s “You” using a lollipop ring for support.

Also, according to PEOPLE, “guests also played games, with prizes including Zen Gem shirts from Ashley’s soon-to-launch wellness brand and dinner gift cards to La Vie.”

Tierra Events provided all the flowers for the event, including those draped on the hedge wall which guests snapped photos in front of for the Gram.

Three tall arrangements and two low arrangements were set up for the table centerpieces, with blue hydrangeas sitting atop green bottom pompom and strings of white dendrobium orchids, according to an OK mag feature on the event.

How Regina King’s Decision To Put Her Son First Skyrocketed Her Career

One of my all time fave actress, directors and producers Regina King changed the entire trajectory of her storied and award-winning acting career by choosing to put her child first.

It started after the former child star (who played “Brenda” on the 1980s NBC hit 227) had her son Ian in 1996 with her then husband Ian Alexander Sr.

“I took a break from making films,” she explained to W magazine in its 2019 Hollywood issue released in January around award season. “My son, Ian, was getting to the age, around sixth grade, when kids are starting to spread their wings, and everything that was being offered to me was outside of Los Angeles, except for TV. I didn’t want to travel to make films.”

Because of that move, the If Beale Street Could Talk Oscar nominee focused her career on the small screen.

“I like to say I was one of the first movie actors who made the leap into television,” she said to the interviewer who asked if her silver screen role in Beale, the first feature film after a 10 year break was a comeback film

“I like to use the LL Cool J song: ‘Don’t call it comeback. I been here for years.’

In a 2018 interview with SheKnows.com, the back-to-back Emmy Winner for the American Crime anthology series said, “I did not want to homeschool my son. I didn’t want to have to leave him at home and miss out on all those little milestones and triumphs that happen in a growing child’s life.”

Love it! And loved her while starring as a police officer in the NBC-turned- TBS cop drama Southland in a role written just for her in 2009.

From there, as E! Online summarized earlier this year, the “career renaissance began, with roles in American Crime, The Leftovers, and Seven Seconds coming one after the other. ”

Then, the Boyz In the Hood alum started to clean up at the awards shows.

Her first Emmy win, for work in the first season of ABC‘s anthology series American Crime, came in 2015, with another following suit a year later. At the same time, she began developing a serious passion for directing. Since helming a 2013 episode of Southland, she’s gone on to direct episodes of Scandal, This Is Us, Shameless, The Good Doctor, and Insecure. 

In May, it was anounced that King has just inked a first-look deal with Netflix to produce films and television series.

Keeping it all in the family, her sister, Reina, will be head of production, Huffpo reported.

King is proof positive that putting family first is not always a hazard to progress on a career!

‘It was the worst experience of my life,’ LHH’s Rah Ali On Losing Baby at 20 Weeks Pregnant

“It was the worst experience of my life,” is how Love and Hip Hop star Rashidah Ali describes losing her first child at just 5 months gestation, in a recent exclusive interview with PEOPLE magazine.

The celebrity shoe consultant who owns a chain of boutique shoe stores told the magazine that she woke up the morning of May 26 experiencing excruciating pain that she just chalked up to normal pregnancy symptoms.

When the pain became too much to bear, Ali, also known as Rah Ali, explained, she got help.

“I called my husband and he rushed home,” the former Bad Boy and Def Jam records intern told PEOPLE. “The ambulance came and they took me to the hospital. That’s when they told me that my cervix was completely open and that my water had broken.”

At just 20 weeks along, she was forced to deliver but sadly, the doctors told her the baby was too young to survive outside the womb, and the newborn who she had decided to call Sanaa passed away.

“I held her … and she slept in the room with us until the morning when they took her away,” she shared solemnly. “I felt like I lost my soul.”

Ali said she has found solace from reflecting on the strong bond she developed with her baby when in utero and said she believes the strong connection was because God knew she would not have much time with her child.

“Every single day, I would get up and feel her kicking and I would talk to her…Not like a baby, but like a person,” she shared. “I would say, ‘What are we eating this morning?’ Or, ‘Okay, you’re getting agitated and feisty. I know you’re hungry and I’m going to eat something.’ “

Still, the unexpected delivery blindsided her, she explained.

“When you’re pregnant with your first child, it’s a whole mental thing just knowing that you’re going to deliver,” she told the mag. “Every day you count down and see [your due date] getting closer and closer. At five months, I hadn’t even come to the realization that it was going to happen. It was the worst experience of my life.”

Since this horrific event, the reality star said she found comfort from loads of messages she has gotten from other women who survived similar losses, while ignoring any mean-spirited comments about her former friend, Remy Ma who has previously suffered a miscarriage

For the Third Time, A Fit Australian Instagram Model’s Tiny Bump Is Shamed

Yet, another super thin and ultra fit Australian Instagram model is being shamed in social media for carrying amazingly small well along in her pregnancy.

Sydney, Australian model Belle Lucia posed in a two piece bikini while vacationing in Spain.

The 24-year-old captioned the image: “Beach and bump” with the hashtags “23 weeks pregnant” and “six months bump.”

As could be expected, a bunch of her followers marveled and commented on the size of her “bump.”

The model took to her Instagram story to defend herself and her tiny bump:

“As you can see, women show very differently but are all carrying a little life,” she shared to her 1.4M followers. “Just because I’m not showing as much as you like doesn’t mean my pregnancy is ‘unhealthy’ or that I’m promoting a ‘skinny’ pregnancy.”

She continued:

“It’s just my body and I can’t help it if it doesn’t look the same as other women,” she continued. “Body shaming is not okay no matter how ‘big’ or ‘small’ someone is.”

Good for her!

Previously, other Australian Instagram fitness star Daegen Coyne had to defend herself, as did Hannah Polites and Revie Jane Schulz also from Australia dealt with similar bump backlash.

Bumps, Crimson and Noir at 2019 CFDA Awards

It was all about fashion and flare this year at the 2019  Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards held on Monday, June 3, at the Brooklyn Museum in New York.

Third-time mom-to-be’s Jenna Bush Hager wore a crimson cape dress to the CFDA Fashion Awards that concealed her bump. She said the outfit got mixed reviews but her two daughters loved it. ††

Bellyitch Bumpwatch alum Jennifer Lopez showed off her rock hard six pack in an orange custom Ralph Lauren crop top layered with 43,200 crystals and matching floor length skirt on the red carpet and on stage when she received her fashion icon award.

CFDA Chairwoman, Diane von Furstenberg said JLo was a no brainer when it came to picking her for the award.

“Jennifer Lopez uses clothes as a way to express confidence and power,” the designer said. “Both designers and fans look forward to her fashion statements.”

Steven Kolb, President and CEO of the CFDA, added, “Jennifer Lopez’s style is bold, uninhibited, and always memorable. Designers, including many of our CFDA Members, love to dress her for both stage and private moments.”

Lopez joins past recipient that include: Rihanna, Beyoncé, Naomi Campbell, Pharrell Williams, and Johnny Depp.

Also, Lily Aldridge, another bumpwatch alum looked sizzling hot in a classic and elegant crimson red gown by Brandon Maxwell.

Peep ‘Boy Meets World’ Alum Danielle Fishel’s Adorable Maternity Shoot

Best known for her role in the 90s hit comedy Boy Meets World, Danielle Fishel took Instagram by storm with her adorable maternity photo shoot with husband Jensen Karp.

The mom-to-be’s friend Jillian McQuerrey of B.O.B. Photography — who also photographed their wedding in November traveled far to get the shots.

“Last week our dear friend flew across the country to take maternity photos for us and I could definitely cry over how much I love them,” Fishel captioned one of the photos while also sharing that she is 28 weeks along.
