US actor Tom Hanks, the wife of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta are among the rich and famous infected by the coronavirus:

Tom Hanks and his wife, actress and singer RitaWilson, are the first Hollywood stars to announce they are infected. They have been placed in quarantine in a Gold Coast hospital in Australia. Hanks has urged the public to heed the advice of experts.
Best-selling Chilean writer Luis Sepulveda, who lives in northern Spain, has also been infected, showing symptoms of the new Coronavirus in February, after he had returned to his home from a literary festival in neighbouring Portugal.

England’s football Premier League, the richest in the world, is badly affected: Arsenal’s Spanish manager Arteta and Chelsea winger CallumHudson-Odoi, who is British, have both contracted the coronavirus.
Italian football team Juventus has announced that one of their players, defender Daniele Rugani, has tested positive.
French basketball player Rudy Gobert has become the first US National Basketball Association player to test positive, prompting the NBA to abruptly suspend the season.
Utah Jazz star Gobert has apologised for potentially exposing people to the coronavirus, after triggering scorn on social media for pointedly touching every microphone and voice recorder on a table in front of him at a media availability on Monday.
A second Utah player, Donovan Mitchell, has also been confirmed to have tested positive for COVID-19.
Colombian cyclist Fernando Gaviria, is doing well after being admitted to hospital in the United Arab Emirates 10 days ago.

French Culture Minister Franck Riester is staying in his Paris home after contracting the coronavirus earlier this week.
British MP Nadine Dorries, a minister in the health department who helped craft the legislation to fight the bug, has tested positive, the first British politician to do so.
Several senior officials in Iran have been infected, including Vice President Massoumeh Ebtekar and Iraj Harirchi, deputy health minister.
Australian Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton, has entered hospital quarantine after being infected. He recently met Ivanka Trump, the daughter and aide of US President Donald Trump.
Fabio Wajngarten, a top aide to Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has tested positive for the disease following a trip on which both met with the US president. Bolsonaro is awaiting results of his own test.
We can always count on an Australian fitness Instagram celebrity to school the masses on diversity in pregnancy experiences and this time, fitness pro Emily Skye shared two side by side shots to show how earlier a baby belly “pops” after a second pregnancy compared to the first.
“Last pregnancy vs this pregnancy – both at 19 weeks along!” she captioned the photo of herself at 19 weeks pregnant for baby #1 and the same gestation for baby #2 with a much larger bump. “EVERY PREGNANCY IS DIFFERENT!!”
Indeed at South Florida Morsani College OB-GYN maternal-fetal medicine specialist Dr. Stephanie RostoldInsider, it’s “totally normal” because the stomach muscles and tissues around them get stretched out during the first pregnancies.
“In future pregnancies, it doesn’t take much pressure to get those tissues to allow the growing uterus to push forward,” Ros said, adding that women may also find their baby bump sinks lower after the first pregnancy since the pelvic muscles are looser too.
Midwife Clare Herbert wrote in The BabyCentre., a second pregnancy (or any pregnancy after the first) may also look bigger sooner because the future child actually is bigger, which is common for second children.
It’s also possible for women to look bigger because they’re actually further along than they think they are, Herbert added, especially if they were still breastfeeding when they became pregnant. That’s because breastfeeding can interrupt the menstrual cycle, making tracking when the pregnancy occurred more prone to error.
It has been 10 years since I last posted the annual Bellyitch Most Expensive Strollers post. It was a yearly blog post staple and used to get tons of traffic because, honestly, I think people, generally, are obsessed with knowing what baby items are used and coveted by the super wealthy and celebrities.
Since the last post, a few stroller companies have gone out of business. RIP to Orbit, Maclaren and newer brands 4Moms and iCandy, which were once considered “it” strollers in their day but no longer manufacture luxury strollers.
In 2013, I published the list as part of the Bellyitch 100, a book of the top crib makers, maternity wear designers, stroller makers and baby clothes brands.
Anyway, so I used to publish the Most Expensive Strollers list at a time when I was raising a young family and brands would boast that they were on the list.
My social circle at the time included professional working women, stay-at-home moms, and mom bloggers, several who were affluent and looked at the stroller as a status symbol.
Here is another secret about what happens among moms at the park, at the school pick up lot, in the mall and other social places where mommies congregate. They check out what strollers they’re pushing a baby or child in and make judgments.
Yes, there is a definite hierarchy in quality of strollers and believe me when I tell you that certainly check out what stroller another mom’s child is being pushed in and make judgments.
When I was raising my children as a young lawyer, I went through 6 strollers, which is a low number considering many of my friends at the tiem had way more.
Our first stroller was a Peg Perego which converts from a baby carriage or pram to a push stroller. At the time, it was among the best. Then, when my first born turned into a toddler, we ordered theInglesina Swiftumbrella stroller from the Italian stroller manufacturer. It had a great run!
To pair with the Inglesina, a sturdy Italian brand, we got a lower cost Combi umbrella stroller for travel, a stroller we could beat up which was so much less that so that we wouldn’t mind if it got lost by the airline or damaged during travel.
Then, when I was expecting baby #2, I got as an amazing shower gift from my co-workers at my old job: a Peg Prerego Aria doublestroller!
By the time baby number 3 rolled around, the Inglesina had hit the dirt, we left the Combi on some island we visited for vacation once and we had loaned out the Peg Perego Buggy to relatives who didn’t take good care of it.
The wheels on the double gave out and we opted to give to Goodwill rather than try to fix it or get the company to repair it.

We opted for a lesss expensive Graco Snug Ride for Baby #3 and aB.OB. jogging stroller (the air-filled jogger stroller with hand activated rear wheel brakes that can ride smooth on any terrain) when I was ready to get back in shape.
Now, while we didn’t get any of them to make a statement, I have had many moms and dads comment on the pricier high end ones while walking in the parks, malls etc. People are always looking for a status symbol and there is a preconception that most expensive means the best!
It’s no wonder, you can see celebrities strolling their children in many of those on this list. The celebrities know that too. That is why Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony sued Silver Cross from publishing on their website an unauthorized endorsement which featured a People magazine photo of them pushing their twins in two Silver Cross prams.
People flock to buy whatever celebrities purchase and that stroller companies know that endorsement mean lots for their bottom line.
Anyhoo, on to the list. Of course, as a disclaimer, this list is not exhaustive. As usual, this list is based on my own personal research and I urge readers to point out other vehicles that should grace this list. Certainly, I would amend the post to reflect corrections.

Other than Beyonce who was nominated in but did not win two Grammy Awards categories (Best Solo Pop Son for “Spirit” and “Best Pop Vocal Album” for “The Lion King) moms got shut out of awards Sunday night.
But a couple of bumps did show up on the Red Carpet.
Australian model Nicole Trufino arrived in an elegant black gown to root on her husband Gary Clark Jr who won Best Rock, Best Rock Performance and Best Contemporary Blues Album.
The couple have two children with 5-year old son Zion and 1-year old daughter Gia.
She announced she was expecting her third child in the October 2019 issue of Elle Australia and is due to give birth any day now.
Meanwhile, 3rd-time mom-to-be, accountability coach and Real Housewives of Beverly Hillsstar Teddi Mellencamp attended Steven Tyler‘s annual Grammy watch party with her husband Edwin Arroyava.
First-time mom-to-be Marren Morris skipped the pomp and circumstance alogether selecting instead to babymoon with her husband at the lake.
She captioned the post on her Instagram feed, “Back at the farm. #babymoon ?.”
The singer was nominated Sunday evening for best country duo/group performance with fellow Highwomen band member Brandi Carlile. (Dan + Shay took home the honor.) Morris previously won a Grammy for best country solo performance for “My Church” in 2017, and performed at last year’s awards show.
Serena Williams has won her first professional tennis tournament as a mom this weekend when she triumphed at the World Tennis Association‘s Auckland Classic on Sunday.
It was 2017 when she last won a WTA title, the Australian Open against her sister and back then, she was weeks pregnant with her now 2-year old daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian, Jr with her husband Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian.
This triumph marks her 73rd WTA championship title and also means she has been mounting tournaments for four decades, after capturing her first title in 1999 at the US Open against Martina Hingis.
Williams announced plans to give back to Australia during her winner’s speech.
“I’ve been playing in Australia for over 20 years and it’s been really hard for me to watch all the news and everything that has been happening in Australia with all the fire and… animals and people that have lost their homes,” she said. “I decided at the beginning of the tournament… I’d donate all my prize money for a great cause.”
With this win, she finally silences the naysayers who believe that pregnancy, childbirth and motherhood signal the end of a sportswomen’s career.
Although she is the most accomplished tennis champ since 1968 when the WTA only permitted professionals to compete, she still faces the final hurdle of earning her 25th Grand Slam title in the so called “Open Era” when amateurs were allowed to compete in Grand Slams. Margaret Court holds the record at 24 and ties with Serena at this point.
Williams can do it and in fact Court won three of her major titles after giving birth to her son in 1972.
Other moms have done it too.
Kim Clijsters won three of her 4 Grand Slams after the birth of her child.
Lindsay Davenport won 3 of her 55 Career titles after giving birth to her son.
And Olympic Gold medalist and seven times Grand slam winner, in 1914, Dorothea Lambert Chambers became the first mother to win a Grand Slam crown.
Last night’s Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California was memorable for historic wins after long absences (Renee Zelleger for and Brad Pitt for after a 16- and 24-year lapse since each last one, respectively) and for notable as speeches (Michelle Williams about female empowerment, SNL‘s Kate McKinnon’s presentation to Ellen DeGeneres of the Carol Burnett Award role in making it easier for a lesbian TV star to shine and Joaquin Phoenix about climate change and the Australian wildfires)
Among the moms featured and “bump watched” before on the blog, Beyonce was nominated for Best Original Song for “Spirit” on The Lion King (and got roasted by a few Twitter for being the only one to not give Phoenix a standing ovation for his win); Christina Applegate for Best Actress in Dead to Me and Nicole Kidman for Big Little Liesand Reese Witherspoon for The Morning Show in the Best Actress in a Television Series-Drama category, and Jennifer Lopez for Best Supporting Actress in Motion Picture for Hustlers.

However, since then, the “Fancy” recording artist has attempted to indirectly debunk the rumors by posting videos and pics from rehearsals for her upcoming performances.
In video, she is seen looking fit and trim with a tiny tummy ant resembling nothing close to 6 months pregnant.

Nonetheless, Azalea showed up to the International Music Awards in Berlin on November 22 lightly subconsciously tapping her belly, yet in a performance in Brazil last night, you wouldn’t think she was pregnant in those outfits either.
An Australian Instagram influencer claims her account got flagged and taken down over a sexy maternity photo she shared on the social media networking site.
Sally Mustang, who posts over 300,000 followers, posted a photo of herself naked in a bathtub with the caption, “bath with babe ? also loving all the new roundness everywhere ?.”and shortly after the now restored photo and her entire account was removed.
Her husband and fellow influencer Mitch Gobel reposted the same image on his account and he too got threatened with a take down. To announce the pregnancy, the pair posted a suggestive photo of Mustang straddling Gobel while wearing a white lace bra and skirt but was not unlike the apparent risque fair that is usually on both of their pages.
“Mitch’s account was threatened to be shut down this morning, so we are just going to be super easy going [sic] on here for a few days,” she wrote in the post, which contained a picture of her in a white bra and skirt gazing down at her stomach.
She took to her husband’s account to complain about the impact of losing her livelihood which she maintained via that account..
“I’m really scared,” she said. “I’m five months pregnant and my whole livelihood has disappeared.”
“It’s my creative outlet. It’s my memories. My voice, my community, my family, my businesses,” she continued. “It’s all disappeared. And to be five months pregnant and adapting to all the change that’s going on already, it feels so unfair.”
Perhaps because of the outcry her account was restored later but in an Instastory, she explained she will be creating an app and started a website with a pop up to collect the emails of those who come to her Instagram page!
