‘Bad Girl Club’s Tanisha Thomas Welcomes First Child

From Bad Girl to Mom.

Tanisha Thomas, former star of the Oxygen channel show The Bad Girls Club and host of subsequent permeations of the hit show about out of control young women living in a house, gave birth to her first child, son Prince Aiden.

Thomas took to Instagram to share the news.

“I am a woman of Many hats, however, this blessing right here is my greatest accomplishment,” she captioned a photo of herself cradling her baby in bed. “#PrinceAiden arrived at 11:58 PM On 3/7/18. Forever grateful to the amazing staff at NYU I really couldn’t do it without you. And Thank you for all of your beautiful words and love.”



Her beau Carey StHilaire also shared the news.

“Proudest moment of my life thus far Welcome to the world my Prince. Daddy and Mommy have so much in store for you. #PrinceAiden #blessings” he captioned his photo holding his son.

A day before, Thomas shared a dreamy maternity portrait expressing her anxiousness over the imminent arrival.

nother popular alum of the show Natalie Nunn and her husband welcomed their first child last year as well. It seems just like the Jersey Shore girls, all the bad girls settle down, marry and become moms and family women.

Like a lot of women who suffer a miscarriage loss, Thomas waited until half way through the pregnancy to announce the news.

“I’m sorry I didn’t mean to,” Thomas explained. “After going through such a painful miscarriage during last years holiday season that literally almost tore us apart, Bae and I didn’t want to take any chances this time around and waited as long as we could to share the good news.”

Survey: More Couples Breaking With Tradition of Waiting Three Months Before Announcing Pregnancy

A new survey has shed some light on the changes in pregnancy announcements.

The new study, by ChannelMum.com, which surveyed 1,435 mums, has found that a large number of couples are telling people they are pregnant before the recommended time and before they have their first scan.

Mums are breaking with the tradition of waiting until the three-month mark to announce their pregnancies, with just 26 percent holding out until after their scan to share the news.

Instead, one third chose to tell family and friends as soon as they discover they are expecting, with more than half announcing their pregnancy by the seven-week stage, despite medical experts advising that the risk of miscarriage still remains high.

And not only has there been a change in time scale, they are also changing the way they break the news.

Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott Welcomes Her Twin Girls

Congrats to Lady Antebellum front woman Hillary Scott and her husband Chris Tyrell welcomed their twin girls this week.

The front woman for the famous country group was missing during Sunday night’s telecast of the Grammy Awards because she was busy prepping for the birth of her second and third children.

Band member Dave Haywood delivered the message:  “Our girl’s back at home. She’s due any second with twin girls. Couldn’t be more happy for her, but we miss her. We feel so weird without her on the red carpet.”

Scott and Tyrell are parents to 4-year old daughter Eisele Kaye.

Scott shared the news about the babies’ arrival.

“Our family is thankful and proud to announce the arrival of our precious baby girls. They were born in the early hours of January 29th, 2018 and we can’t wait to share more about them in the days to come. Thank you to everyone who prayed and prayed for these little ladies, and thank you Lord for healthy babies. #twins.”

The new additions came following the couple’s miscarriage which she talked about with her followers and fans, and even penning a song about the experience. Congrats!

Senator Tammy Duckworth Will Be First US Senator To Give Birth in Office

Senator Tammy Duckworth, first female amputee elected to Congress and the first Asian American to represent her state of Illinois is about to have another first: the first sitting Senator to welcome a baby.

The 49-year old Thailand-born retired US Army Lieutenant released the news in a recent statement which read, “Bryan and I are thrilled that our family is getting a little bit bigger, and Abigail is ecstatic to welcome her baby sister home this spring.”

Duckworth  lost both of her legs in the Iraq War when her helicopter was shot down. The accident also made her first female amputee of that War.

It’s an extraordinary piece of news given her history with infertility. She conceived her first child, daughter, Abigail, with her husband  Bryan Bowlsbey via IVF and suffered a miscarriage while on the campaign trail on the road to the Senate.

She opened up about her fertility problems admitting, “I’ve had multiple IVF cycles and a miscarriage trying to conceive again. She went on to speak of her commitment to her country and as a mother, “As tough as it’s been to juggle motherhood and the demands of being in the House and now the Senate, it’s made me more committed to doing this job.”

Inside Lady Antebellum Singer Hillary Scott’s Baby Shower

Lady Antebellum‘s Hillary Scott celebrated the impending arrival of her twins recently at an intimate shower with friends the Husk restaurant in Nashville, Tennessee.

“Today was the most precious and perfect celebration for our little girls,” the country singer captioned a photo slideshow of the festivities. “One of my favorite parts about today was that a table full of amazing women(a few not pictured ?, and a few unable to attend who we missed tremendously!!) had great fellowship, laughs, and lifted each other up…all while celebrating these two babies who I pray grow up to first be who God has created them to be, but also a melting pot of all of the hearts in this room who love them so much already. My heart is overflowing with gratitude to the hostesses @darlintennessee @jocd_like_ocd @goinbackto & @lindsay.doyle ??? Love y’all so much and thanks to @husknashville for making our bellies REALLY happy!! ❤️”

This is Scott and husband Chris Tyrrell’s third and fourth children after suffering a devastating miscarriage earlier which inspired a hit song, “Thy Will” about the ordeal.

The couple announced the news this August in a tender video with their daughter, who they say had been hoping and praying along with mom and dad for another baby.

“You know how you’ve been praying a lot about having a baby and about God giving our family another baby?” Tyrrell says to Eisele  in the video. “Well … God has answered that prayer, and Mommy is pregnant with a baby in her belly”.

These Were the Top 14 Most Anticipated Celebrity Births of All Time

We can safely say that if and when Meghan Markle and Prince Harry welcome their first child, the occasion will be included in the short list of anticipated babies of all time which include the other Hollywood actress to welcome a child with a Prince.

1 Grace Kelly, a Hollywood legend, captivated the nation after she married Rainier III, Prince of Monaco, to become princess consort of Monaco, and the world watched closely as they started a family. On April 19, 1958,  presented her newborn son Albert to residents of the principality on April 19, 1958, from the balcony of the palace, along with their daughter Caroline.

2. Before then, over in the states comedienne Lucille Ball and husband Desi Arnaz‘s son, Desi Jr, born on January 19, 1953, was most anticipated. That baby was the first to grace the cover of TV Guide in April 1953 with cover headline, “Lucy’s $50,000,000 baby.”

3. Then came the big Camelot birth on November 25, 1960 of little John F. Kennedy Jr., the son of President John F. Kennedy and First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy, born just 6 weeks after his dad became president.

14. The last big anticipated birth was Beyonce’s twins Suri and Rumi Carter on June 14, 2017.

Olympic Gold Medalist Dominique Dawes is Expecting Twins!

Congratulations to retired Olympic Gold Medalist gymnast Dominique Dawes who expecting twins this January, joining our long list of celebrity moms to twins.

The brand ambassador shared the news on her birthday last week.

“Well, a lot to say here on my BIRTHDAY post,” Dawes, who is also a motivational speaker, captioned a photo of herself with her two daughters 3-year old Kateri and 1-year old Quinn. “Now being 41 couldn’t feel better- unless you’re extremely pregnant- with TWINS, due this January!” How exciting!

This is welcome news for the stay-at-home mom who sadly suffered a miscarriage this past February that she also shared with her followers and fans on Instagram and Facebook.

“I’ve been overwhelmed with love and support by you all, concerning my miscarriage earlier this year,” she wrote in her pregnancy announcement. “I couldn’t tell you how much it meant to read your kind words and reading the stories you’ve shared about your personal struggle as well, with dealing with a miscarriage. It’s surreal to know that this pregnancy has been tough, as most are, but extremely joyful- my husband and 2 little daughters are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our new daughter and son!”

I love Dawes because I believe she is my spirit twin. We’re both around the same age, are from Maryland, are 5’2 and converted to Catholicism after marrying our spouse. Dawes and her husband, The Heights school religion teacher Jeff Thompson, married in 2013. Love her and her openness and positive vibe.

A little more about her tragic loss from earlier this year which she discussed in the most optimistic and faithful way…

 

As for turning 40 at the end of 2016, 2017 truly has proven to be my toughest year to date….. (Yes even those Olympic training years are included). My little family has been stricken with the norovirus, conjunctivitis, now pneumonia & also my impending miscarriage. Yes, I am putting myself out there and saying this is the toughest thing I’ve ever been through, acknowledging the fact that we lost a child in utero. I know so many women out there have been through this, but it doesn’t make it easier. First, I was in complete DENIAL& ASHAMED…I’ve been holding onto HOPE that there is still a fighting chance that this isn’t true, but I’m facing the certain reality that it is the hard truth. ACCEPTANCE! Every pregnancy is so intimate and personal. It still hurts. But, having God, a loving husband (who has totally stepped up and cleans the dishes every night now) and my 2 most precious and prized gifts–my two baby girls to comfort me and stand with me through these tough days. Knowing the reality and accepting this miscarriage, has brought me to a better place. At first I was ashamed and blamed myself, like I did something wrong. Now I’m looking forward with HOPE for the future! I know there are women out there who have and are going through this reality. Put faith in God first, lean on loved ones and everything will work out the way it was meant to. God Bless…

The Big Bang Theory’s Melissa Rauch Leads Pregnancy Loss Support PSA

Following up on penning personal essay for Glamour magazine about pregnancy and previous miscarriage from this summer, Big Bang Theory actress

Melissa Rauch is speaking out once again   about the heartbreak of miscarriages, generally to remind other women and their partners that they are not alone.

In that essay, published on July 11, Rauch pens. “Here is the only statement regarding my pregnancy that doesn’t make me feel like a complete fraud: Melissa is expecting her first child. She is extremely overjoyed, but if she’s being honest, due to the fact that she had a miscarriage the last time she was pregnant, she’s pretty much terrified at the moment that it will happen again. She feels weird even announcing this at all, and would rather wait until her child heads off to college to tell anyone, but she figures she should probably share this news before someone sees her waddling around with her midsection protruding and announces it first.’”

Ranch joined others to star in a public service announcement video about miscarriages to encourage dialogue about an experience which affects one out of every four pregnancies, yet still remains largely undiscussed, with many women feeling either too ashamed or alone to speak out about.

Kiele Sanchez (whose real-life miscarriage was written into the second season of Kingdom), Vanna White, June Diane Raphael, Nancy Kerrigan, and others, speak into the camera about how devastating the experience of a miscarriage can be, and how women should feel empowered to come together and support each other through one of life’s most difficult challenges.

 

Rauch’s pregnancy is being worked into the current season of The Big Bang Theory. She plays the character Bernadette’wife of actor Simon Helberg’s Howard Wolowitz

Lady Antebellum Hillary Scott is Having Twins Too; Watch Her Sweet Announcement

Lady Antebellum‘s Hillary Scott is the latest celebrity expecting twins!

The country singer and  her husband Chris Tyrrell announced on Friday that they are expecting twins by posting a very cute video of the two of them explaining the double blessing to their  4-year-old daughter, Eisele Kaye.

“You know how you’ve been praying a lot about having a baby and about God giving our family another baby?” Tyrrell says to Eisele  in the video. “Well … God has answered that prayer, and Mommy is pregnant with a baby in her belly”.

It’s welcome news for Scott who suffered a miscarriage not long ago.

She wrote the song “Thy Will” to help herself heal.

“I wrote this song in the middle of experiencing everything that comes with a miscarriage, so it was at my most raw place that I could have ever been when this song truly poured out of me,” she shared about the song.

But in the same twin announcement Instagram post, Scott captioned, “God has answered our family’s countless prayers! Our family is growing … Chris, Eisele, and I wanted to share our DOUBLE portion of joy with you all!”

She added, “Chris nor I have any family history of twins that we can find and are just resting in the profound gift this truly is.”
